Armor35's gandydancers have been busy creating new kits of 1/35 railway turnouts. Prepare to 'bend some iron' - er, some resin!
Armor35 has already released a section of this 5-foot gauge Russian railroad turnout (ARM35004). Now they have completed the extension and a full kit:
ARM35031 Turnout with cast frog. Type IIIa 1/9. USSR (Russian gauge 1524 mm) (model length 806 mm). This set includes: points, switch stand, stock and closure rails, frog and guard rails, sleepers (cross ties) and fastenings (track spikes).
The extension for kit ARM35004 is:
ARM35032 Turnout frog section. Type IIIa 1/9. USSR (Russian gauge 1524 mm). (model length 600 mm). The set includes: stock and closure rails, frog and guard rails, sleepers and fastenings.
These kits include parts of resin, wood, and jeweled (the switch stand lamp lenses). When assembled, the track will be almost 32 inches long, or 92.5 feet in 1/35! With or without adding Armor35's straight track lengths this turnout is long enough most 1/35 railroad locomotives and rolling stock (freight cars).
We thank Armor35 for notifying us of these new kits! Please tell them and retailers that you saw these here - on Armorama.
