Nice addition, Jim, thanks mate!. . .These look very good. Oh, but do we dare to spawn another "Battle of the Bulge" discussion!?! :-)

My thoughts exactly . However, the KEY word in all of this is 'ALTERNATIVE'. At least three of the wheels illustrated are different variants of the kit-supplied wheels. In that respect they are being produced to give different variants - nothing else. There is NO possible reason to start 'Bulge Two' over this. Anyone who does will be VERY obvious in their intentions. As I said in my first thread, these will be equally useful for both the DML M2 as well as the future Trumpeter M3s/M16s etc....

The first 2 will come in very handy for North Africa and up into Italy.

Jim, The news item says that each set contains 3 replacement wheels, where's the 3rd one go? As a spare?

Very nice looking. I assume that they'll follow up with some with snow chains attached...

I must admit, i'm kinda surprised those weren't the first announced

I was AWOL when the M2 was first introduced, so I'm just guessing here. I assume this "Battle of the Bulge" is all about the bulge built into the kit tires? Not to start up any kind of war but having got my kit this weekend I can say my tire old eyes really can't see all the much bulge in the kit tires anyway. The only thing I see is a slightly flattened area at the bottom, which I'm fine with. As to these sets they do seem to be very useful for anybody not wanting, for whatever reason, to use the kit wheels. I'm with the others, I find it a bit strange there isn't a snow chain set offered, yet.

AM guys are fast! This is one "I told you so" moment to stop further bulge discussions. Check out them Wheels, baby! Definitely, a good news. Btw, Tank Workshop has resin tires for M3, including ones with snow chains. http://www.tankworkshop.com/Shop/agora.cgi?cart_id=367.23752*jV78i4&next=40&exact_match=on&product=Tank+Workshop&user4=American
