Officially released last December, Hobby Boss shares photos of what’s inside its Vickers Mk II* kit.
Compared with its predecessor, the Mk II* had the older Hotchkiss machine gun replaced by a co-axial Vickers machine gun. In addition, the commander’s position was relocated further back from its original position so as to avoid the risk of being hit by spent shells ejected from the main gun.
Kit #83880 contains more than 740 parts in 13 sprues. It boasts of a multi-slide molded upper hull and turret, individual link tracks, and photo-etched details. As built, the model stands at 154mm long by 79mm wide.
