Master Box has shared further information and photos on its planned figure kit releases, a couple of which we have featured recently.
Slated for release are two kits in 1/35 scale.

"Under Fire. Modern US Infantry" (35193). The kit relates to the period of Modern Wars and consists of 4 figures. The figures make up the single story showing a combat scene that could happen in any corner of Iraq or Afghanistan nowadays. The U.S. Army sub-unit went into action with insurgents, one fighter is wounded and a medical man administers him, a machine-gunner covers the enemy with dense fire, another fighter reloads his M4A1 and is ready to come to the aid of him. The whole scene looks very live, dramatic, the figures are animated very well and interact with each other greatly and this kit can both enliven the diorama with the use of models of techniques and serve as the basis for creating mini-diorama. Also we would emphasize that the figures in the given kit can be used not only in the look offered by the manufacturer, but also separately, in any combination, at modeller’s choice.

"Indian Wars Series. On the Great Plains" (35189). The kit continues the series of the figures in 1/35 scale dedicated to the period of history of the USA of the XIXth century and relates to the time of so-called “Indian Wars”. The kit includes parts for the assembly of the figures showing the Indian family wandering through wide open spaces of prairies. The kit consists of the figure of the warrior, head of the family that is leading a horse on that his wife is sitting holding a child in arms, besides, the horse is pulling so-called Travois that is a primitive tool by which Indians who were unaware of wheel carried their property. Despite calm and even static character of the story offered in the kit the poses of the figures are very live, filled with internal motions, and the figures interact with each other greatly creating emotionally filled story.

Modern civilian figures are to be released as well. The kit is rendered in 1/24 scale.

"Bob and Sally - The Happy Couple" (24029). This kit is the part of the series of the kits performed in new 1/24 scale for Master Box company. The choice of 1/24 scale exactly for this series of the kits is caused by that there is indeed enormous number of the models of the cars performed, foremost, from metal in 1/24 scale on the market, but at the same time expressive deficiency of the figures in this scale is felt and the offered series of the kits is just aimed at making up this deficiency. The kit consists of one sprue with the parts that allow creating two figures – figure of a girl and figure of a boy. The task of these figures is, first of all, to draw attention to the model of the car, to make perception of the real size of the car in comparison with the figures clearer, but we will emphasize that the pose of the figures allows using them both together with any model of the passenger car and during creation of a separate vignette that is independent of the model of the car.

Master Box further stated that they continue to work on producing quality figure sets in features and poses that gives special charm and attractiveness to its kits. As in the case of the Great Plains kit, they have endeavored to produce figures with features characteristic to such period, whilst at the same time maintaining a generic look giving the modeler a base to depict a model such as a Comanche, Navajo, or other Indian tribes. Lastly, ease in assembly is maintained to ensure that the modeler derives enjoyment and pleasure in building its line of kits.

Our thanks to Master Box for this update.

Between MasterBox and MAIM we finally get more and more 1:24/1:25 scale figures to populate the many cars from Revell, Italerie etc. All for decend prices and with a solid quality (I have the previous six females build and they are nice) Hope they add stuff like truck drivers and femal drivers. I l would like to build a Bulldog Mack with a can on back" and maybe a "Jaguar haulin ass" Some 1970s era plaincloth cops and a pimp to go with the new Revell Grand Torino would be nice too

I really like that Native American kit, although it might have been better in 54mm...just that slight bit larger for better detail. The 1/24 seated figures could be a PITA...I got the seated woman stepping out of a car. First; there are not many car kits with opening doors, second; find a car kit with opening doors where she will actually fit. Some repositioning of arms and legs will be required, as well as cutting down her bottom to fit into a seat. If it's a sports car with hardtop, her head will hit the cieling. She will fit comfortably only in a convertible with opening doors.

* Reedoak, Scale Production, Northstar Models, and Scale Equipment Limited also produce 1/24 resin figures. * One can see more photos of the new Masterbox July/August figures here: http://www.themodellingnews.com/2017/06/masterbox-is-getting-romantic-but-still.html * I really like the idea of 1/24 modern civilians. I just find the Masterbox ones don't quite match the boxart though. They appear older and thicker on the back of the box than what the front boxart shows, more of "middle age" size and complexion than young and slender (although they are sculpted very well). There are now Youtube review videos of many of the 1/24 Masterbox figures if you care to see the actual plastic and determine for yourself.

I am currently trying her in a Revell Mercedes AMG GT. Hope to have more data and some pictures after the weekend. So far both kits went together well and she seems to be sitting nicely. So work permitting... If you hear about an IT engineer running amok in a company near Düsseldorf/germany before that - do not expect any pictures

Thanks for ScaleProduction as a name. Through that I ended up at the ScaleProduction home page. Looks nice so far, german outlet and they have two "Bay city cops" in 1:24

Corrected my post...it's actually "Scale Productions" and "Scale EQUIPMENT Limited." There is no "Scale Resin" company. Sorry about that.

Coincidence...I'm fitting her into Revell's Mercedes Benz i8. She will sort of fit but only with her bum on the rocker panel. The (car) body is too wide to allow her bum in the seat and legs over the side at the same time. And there is no headroom inside. Insane point about the car model: Revell gives a well-detailed engine, but they go and mold the hood (bonnet) shut! Upon Googling your choice of car model, I may buy that one next myself. I see that it's also a hardtop. Post how the figure sits regarding headroom in the interior. Duhhh...that should read BMW i8! Can't even use "typo" as an excuse!

Mercedes, Volkswagen, Opel, BMW - no big difference. Basically they all build "transport devices" not cars. HighTech and reliabel mobility devices but without style or a soul. For that you have to look to Italie or maybe France and sometimes the USA (okay, Ford Germany occasionally has one too). So mixing the car is no big deal.
