Released late last year, Hobby Boss shares photos of the built model as well as the kit contents.
Produced in 1938 by the Kirov Plant, the Motobronevagon MBV-2 was a self-propelled armored train that mounted three 76.2mm guns in individual turrets. It carried a number of machine guns, and had a crew of fifteen. Only two were built, and a surviving example is on display at the Kubinka Tank Museum.
Soviet MBV-2 Armored Train (85514) is an injection-molded kit that contains over 420 parts spread over 26 sprues. Also included are clear parts, 2 photo-etched frets, and 5 sections of railroad beds for use as a display base. The built model stands at 570mm in length and 94mm in width.
