Agreed Alan, both those figures look pretty hopeless. The womens pose is very awkward and unnatural looking, and the man looks little better. Its a shame because some decent civilian figures are always useful, but these dont really cut it.

Plus Models is going backwards with they're figures. The painting of they're stuff also looks very toy like, putting you off buying some great resin AM models Come on Plus Models sort it out

I like the blacksmith shop, I'd buy it just for the workbench. The Japanese radio is certainly interesting, and inovated, and I'll probably spring for the ration boxes. BUT they sure do know how to sculpt BUTT UGLY WOMEN! Maybe they need to work a deal with Hornet to use their female heads as a starting point when doing females.

That has got to be one of the uglyest women figures ever produced. It could be used for a TV instead of a woman. Jose

I have always thought PlusModels produces an exceptional line. I love the small items such as the pail & bucket set. The resin staff cars etc. Their weakness from the beginning was the figures. The problem is, the figures have actually gotten worst. The first several figure sets were okay, not on the level as most noted producers (Alpine, Hornet etc) but definitely not at the lowest end. However! I believe they have gone backward on the figures. With each new set the poses and sculpting appear to get poorer. Maybe PlusModels should consider sticking with the AM and resin vehicle kits that they do best and leave the figures to others. C.

I was just looking at thecivilians again in view of the Miniart Civilian kit. Now I know we only have the box art from Miniart but their kits are usually quite close to the box art and they look very good compared to these resin offerings from Plus Model. With resin you're supposed to get more detail right? Look at the Plus model male figure. The way his arm is clamped to his right side looks very false although it probably made the mouldmaker's job easy. His jacket looks too small for him and is clinging to his body as though it were wet and the collar of the jacket looks flat all around instead of rising at the back of his neck. As for the woman well let's not even start on her.

The guy has this expression on his face: "Cute puppy, dog woman".

Hey Grumpy.........You are so right , some of the new stuff is really cool. The guy figure looks OK but that poor woman.............woof. To me, the puppy limits her use in a dio. especially since the puppy looks better than her...........LOL............I know....that was mean ....sorry.

I think its a man in drag, "she" (and I use that term in the broadest term possible) looks like "she" has a 5 o'clock shadow. Andy
