Hobby Boss has updated their Hot Product page with the release of their Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top. This vehicle should make a nice addition to any British OIF/OEF diorama or street scene.
The model is over 190 parts including 19 clear spread over 6 tan sprues. The tires are rubber and there are photo-etched headlight grilles. A detailed engine is also included per the Hobby Boss site.

The product number is 82448.

You can read more information about the Defender 110 at the Hobby Boss website. http://www.hobbyboss.com/plus/list.php?tid=7 will take you to the English language version.

Very good then, that's what I was curious about. Cristophe: Thank you for sharing your build photos, that answers my other question. Is there any fit issue with the top? Or will it mate to the bed and windshield frame properly?

I hope that the next step will be Snath[/quote] Snatch of course.

You're welcome. The top fits allright, I was just struggling to have everything on without glue for the photographs. Actually I would say overall the fit is very precise if you take your time.

Hi, looking good so far, when you built the model, the instructions ask you to cut out the 2 black rectangles on item C22, however does not explain what goes into the holes any suggestion please.

Refresh my memory: what is C22 and where does it go....I can check my completed kit tonight

C22 is the main rear floor. I think it would be for the radios, however the kit does not come with hence the removal. But it's more a case of removing the raised area than cutting out. Paul
