Is it too late for me to join in?

Of course it's not too late. Campaign ends in the end of March so you have a plenty of time to finish a model.

Michael, thank you for helping Anthony with banner.

Thanks Marcin,

Just need to decide what to build now! I see a nice Hetzer in TMMI with faded white wash achieved with hair spray, i think I will give this method a try.

Nice work, Jubelum. Painting and weathering look great although it's hard to see any from stowage you added . Wheel chains are nice addition too.

Hello everybody!
Czesc Marcin!

I've just joined this site and this is first campaign I'm joining.
I have a Tamiya's Marder III in a box under my desk - I want to assemble it during Christmas. I've planned to keep it painted with panzergrau, but this campaign gave me good idea... Maybe I'll even put it on small diorama.

Cześć,
Welcome to Armorama and to the campaign.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the site. Many members are better than encyclopedia with wide knowledge about everything you want to assembly.
And as Harv said: don't hesitate to ask if there is anything that you need.

I was wondering about one thing - I know that name of campaign is WHITE-washed, but campaign rules mentions ANY type of winter camo. So here's my question - does ambush camo also counts?
I have model of KingTiger (quite old - it was one of my first ones) that I'd like to rework it - I have some more skills now and I'd like to repaint it and maybe change something with it...
Since Ardennes op. was on going during the winter and ambush camo was used then, can I use it for this campaign? Will it count?

Hmm I think the idea was to have a gallery full of white looking vehicles. Anyway up to the campaign leader to decide

I finished the schurzen of my panzer 4 so I can start painting now. Hopefully I'll have some time for that soon.
Meanwhile I also work on the figures that I want to use on my diorama.

Pics will follow!

It has to be painted in winter camo (plain white, white patches, stripes, etc) so ambush camo + information that this tank was used in winter '44 is insufficient.
I've seen many Marders in winter camo made by diffirent modelers and they all looked very interesting, especialy when they were part of dio or vignette.
here you have exemples:

May them all be an inspiration for you

OK! So white it is.
Tiger goes back to it's cage then - it has to wait for a better ocasion. Time for Marder (very beautifull vehicle by the way - it has it's charm).
Thanks for links - I'm sure these pictures will help during painting.

Progress report:
-Track links are prepared for assembling.
- Lower and upper hull are finished and waiting for priming (still apart as long as track wouldn't be assembled)
- Turret's inside is painted light grey, gun will be painted this weekend (I hope), after that turret parts will be put together and turret will be ready for priming.

I've just started my project - parts are taken out of the box, few pieces cut out and already after sanding... I've tried to fit few hull parts together and as usually with Tamiya I don't think that I'll have any fitting problem with this model...
I'll make some update if any progress appears.

I've made some progress:
- hull is ready (assembled and prepainted);
- gun is partially assembled;
Today (or maybe tomorrow, or maybe during the weekend) I hope to finish the gun along with its cover. Whole thing should be finished after the Holidays (finally I'll have more time). Then I'll think about a diorama. I want to build also a diorama for Medic! campaign that starts in two weeks so I'll have a lot of work (and fun )
