Hi all,
Well disaster at the last moment: my attempt to add a little bit of snow to my model failed, but also left nasty traces. I've reworked the model and it's looking ok now again (thank god), and the only thing left to do is a varnish coat.
I hope to be able to make pics tomorrow but I can only do so at daylight!

Andrzej -
Not to worry about the figures. If they're anywhere close to the quality of your Marder, then they'll look great in any diorama you put them in. Many of the Marder or SP crew sets I've seen probably wouldn't have worked well in your diorama, been hard for them to stand up much less load at the angle it's moving...lol. That's more of a button up and go scene. Love the terrain. Thanks for the feedback. I really enjoyed this Campaign. Now on to 'Borders of the Fatherland' and 'Blitzkrieg'.
Steve-o -
That's a terrific subject and executed in outstanding manner. An 'unique' looking white wash that gives it character. Really nice job
Martin - Hang in there. You've done an masterful job on the PzKpfw IV. It will look terrific even without the snow. Mine is 'apres' snow fall and melt off...lol.

So this is the end...
I had a great time applying my first winter camo ever. I'm glad you enjoyed the campaing as there is a chance to run White-Washed 2 in near future.
Thank you all for participating, support and great time we shared during this group build.
You all did a great job. Every model shows a little bit different approach to white-wash matter and you won't find two similar models in campaign's gallery.
You'll get your ribbon on April 7th because some of you asked me for short extention. The final term of uploading your pics to gallery is April 6th.
By that time I'll prepare the list of those who earned the ribbon.
Btw, you can join Shermans campaign that starts on April 4th:

Thanks Andrzej and Mike! I really do like the multi-turret tanks too! It's funny how small this T-28 looks next to the T-35. the white-wash gives it a nice contrast too.
Anyways, the T-28 is an ICM kit. I think I might have seen it packaged as an 'eastern express' kit someplace as well.

@ HARV - nice one!
Thanks Andrzej

HARV - Another most excellent entry. Really made the PzKpfw 35-H stand out. You've done an excellent job bringing out the worn white-wash.
Thanks Mike.
I appreciate the kind words from both of you. You both have great entries as well.
That was my first time using chalk for white-wash. I would recommend it as it is a lot easier to go back and change something as opposed to if you used paint. I just ground up a piece of white chalk and did sort of a 50/50 mix with water and then applied it with a brush. It dries really quick and you can see the results fast.
I wasn't too sure about whether I liked the way it turned out or not, but your kind words helped me decide that it must be ok.
Thanks again,
HARV

Nice work, Philip. I think you have archieve a realistic "scruffy" white wash look.

@ Philip - nice entry! It asks for diorama!

@Koen, I think there would be White Washed 2, but don't know exactly when so pls stay tuned.
@ Philip, thank you for upolading the pic, but there's a problem: you're not enlisted to the campaign. I have to contact MarkM if there is something we can do about that.
The similar situation is with jg26cooper and Rhobby (pics uploaded but user is not enlisted).
