I'd like to enter my 1/35 Pz IV ausf. G Kharkov. Is this all I have to do to enter in the campaign or is there something else? Pictures to follow soon if I do this right!

Yeah it's the only thing you have to do, as long as you've build the model within the campaign time frame it's ok as far as I'm concerned (not the campaign leader though!) You can enter you model by posting 2 or 3 pics of it in the campaign gallery!
It's usual however to start a build log on entry or post your work in progress in the general campaign thread. That's the idea of the whole campaign, work together on one subject

Marcin - That is a great T-34! I especially like the 'scrapes' on the front underside. A nice subtle thing I'll have to add to my models in the future!
My T-28 (Finland) is almost done. I missed one of the blue lines though...some how it just ends half way down the tank. So...I'll have to fix that before I put up the final pics. I'll have to scrape up the bottom of it a little bit too!!

I found an interesting way to finish this campaign. Next sunday I will follow two workshops, one of them by Phil Stutcinskas and Brian Murdoch. One of the items of the workshop will be how to weather winter white wash camouflage Most of you probably know Phil's Pz IV:
Much better example will be hard to find, so I'll take my Pz IV with me and apply white wash there

Hi all,
Well, had my workshop today. Here are some pics of my little project in progress. We all received a wargames turret to practice on.
Sprayed in dark-yellow. Too bad the shading we practiced isn't really visible on the pictures....the idea was to work with a lot of thin layers of paint.
Chipping:
Result of white wash (before any washes etc. which we did after this step)
More pics can be found here:
http://www.twenot-forums.nl/viewtopic.php?t=16040
And the status of my WW entry:
It was a very nice day, learned a lot from Phil and Brian (and Marijn van Gils, but that was another workshop)

Martin,
Grat work! I've seen also other pictures from your workshop - it looked like great time . Unfortunately this is something I've never had oportunity to experience by myself... No modellinvg workshops around... (we have very good model workshops but concerning only flying and paper models... ).

Think I'm gonna make it.....FINALLY the skirts are painted the way I want them. This evening I'll spray the tank with varnish, but I can't work on the white wash yet because of a birthday. So, white wash will follow friday-evening if all goes as planned, the weekend will be used for weathering.
So hopefully this sunday my tank will be pretty much finished except for the mud. I'll order some MIG pigments to try create mud this way.

Great diorama, Patrick. You did an excellent job on the white wash.
Christer, another stunning viginette from you. Now I see where the other half of the Wespe went. How do you cut the models? Do you just start sawing away when they are build?

Tack Jesper,
Correct, I just start sawing away, by hand, when the kits are built. I know that some people get disturbed when I do this, but I can´t help it.
Cheers,
Christer

Martin -
Your PzKpfw IV came out looking outstanding. The 'white-wash' is very convincing and well done. Wondeful details. Anxious to see it all together.

Thanks Mike! To be honest I think I could have done better, I think the worn look is a bit too rough. But I don't really feel like doing it again Learning a lot though for future projects, and of course I'll do my best to get good results on this one.

I am just about finished with my White-Washed PzKpfw 35-H. I just need to add the white-wash and final detail painting and it will be done.
Please check out my campaign blog titled "White-Washed PzKpfw 35-H".
I should have it finished in time for the deadline.
I will post a final picture of it in this forum as well as in my blog.
Thanks,
HARV

Hi,
I'm almost done with my model and I'd be ready with a small diorama for this weekend, but I had a small beer accident today... my beer exploded out of my can...
Anyway - I still have some time to repair the damages . This is a lesson for me (I already know that I'll forget it soon ). I hope I'll be able to finish whole thing within a week.

You must have been drinking Grolsch 'Het Kanon' (the Cannon).....which is a great beer, but if you drink some of them next day you'll feel like you're hit by a cannon ball
But seriously, your beer can exploded?

Well, not the can (and it was TYSKIE beer) - I've already opened it, swallowed few gulps, and after putting the can back on the table I started preparing a camera to make few pictures of my Marder. And then... shshhshhhhhhh..... geyser of beer erupted . Fortunately not much of it was wasted - maybe a 1/4 of whole can, but everything was wet... . And I've saved the Marder

Modelling and beer....wonderful combination
Well glad you saved the model

By now I'm finished with the white wash. Hopefully I can post some pics this evening or tommorow.
Weathering will have to be done in the last week of the campaign so it will be a late finish
