I finished my entry about two weeks ago, but forgot to post it, so here it is. It is Dragon's T-34/76 built OOB. It was also my first try at PE and indy link tracks. More pics can be found HERE.
Thanks for running such a great campaign, Marcin.

Hi guys,
I've been working on a 1/72 king tiger for this campaign. Here's the tiger with first weathering applied, the tank will be shown as one of the ones resupplied to the first company of the 501st schwere panzer battalion between october and november 1944. It's fairly new concerning chipping and damage.

small update;
I first applied mapping and then tried the hairspray technique. the result are quite satisfactory, even on this small scale the hairspray technique delivers. i hope you like it as much as i do. next will follow some washes and pigments to top it off.

@ Samuel, Steven & Arif - great job guys! Models looks very good (except for Arif’s - his T34 obviously has some oil leakage Arif, you have to fix it ).
@ Martin – it looks like you had a great weekend trip. I think it counts as an entry – for the same purpose I’ve prepared myself for “On the Eastern Front” campaign
Concerning my entry for this one: diorama and Marder are almost ready - they need mostly some snow (and taking under consideration what's going on outside my window it is quite sure that there will be a lot of snow on the diorama ).
Sorry for horrible light on the pictures...
Andrzej

Thank you Andrzej, your project looks very nice also, i love the setup of the vehicle. the base really is composed very nicely!
i have just finished my tank for this campaign. I must say this was a very nice project, i learned alot about use of pigments and weathering in general. i hope you like it.
Steven, I'm happy you like my work. I hope you would not mind if I make your picture a little bigger? The one posted by you does not allow to admire your work .
After resizing it looks really good . What pigments did you used? MIGs? Rust and dirt effect are really great.

Hi Andrzej,
yes I used some MIG pigments, but i added some others too, of the brand "stardust". I was able to purchase this in my local modeling shop.
I did use the techniques advocated by MIG to accomplish the effects though. I liked the process very much, although I'm under the impression that I will need a different type of plaster to make better mud.
the rust effect was created with a deep red-purple base layer, then adding a white colored mapping on it, a pinwash with burnt sienna and lastly adding 3 tones of rust - from very dark (purple-ish) to red and lastly bright orange.
I'm glad you like it. Being a 1/72 scale project it was quite hard to obtain about the same amount of detail as in a 1/35 scale tank!

Well I think you did an amazing job, especially in this scale. Well done
Update on my Pz IV: I added an overall wash yesterday evening. Hopefully somewhere this week I will be able to do a pin wash, some rust and maybe some filters. This weekend I will add pigments for mud (1st time pigments....will be interesting) and I should be done

I'm thinking about buying MIG pigments (never tested them before). Right now I'm experimenting with authentic rust - it's difficult to apply, but it gives nice effects.

Well if you wait till after this weekend...planning on testing MIG pigments for the first time myself and write an short article about how easy (or difficult) they are to use for pigment-beginners. Hopefully to get more people to try pigments of course
For this I'll use two MIG pigment sets, the Mud set and the Sand & Dust set, which consist of 4 pigments and acrylic resin, and some simple instructions. So the goal is to see if these sets are usable to get started with pigments...
So if you're interested I'll let you know the results of the mud session

No scale smaller than 1:1 is big enough .

Andrzej, I'm still testing pigments and for that purpose I use Agama product. In Warsaw they cost about 8 zl for a jar. I must say that I'm happy with the results although my skills are very limited at that field.
You can also try Mirage Hobby pigments. I have one jar of that product and in my opinion it's much better than Agama (and for about 20 zl you get much more product).
