Alright, here's my build. An Italeri M-107 OOB except for the cheesecloth camo net. It has British markings, and a huge gun!

Great build, Sean. I have never seen those antigranade screens before on a Hummel. Is it artistic license or made based on a reference picture?

John, your SU-122 looks good. Nice heavy weathering - It has certainly been through some heavy use over the winter

Nice M107, Scott. It is a truly indirect fire AFV with a massive gun! Looks mean in the good way

Thanks Jesper,

I like those Tamyia powder sets, used the lots of mud for the lower chassis, wheels and tracks, soot for the engine and grille parts and the white for the winter wash.
The oils gave the used look.

Thanks for the compliment .They are based on a couple of photos in a book I have on Panzer IVs and its variants. The vehicles looks to be on either the eastern front or possibly the ardennes, as there is snow on the ground. Interestingly though the vehicle itself has none at all, perhaps it was covered during the fall by a large tarp

great looking build thier guys. as for mine this is were i am atwith it. i have diryted up the bottom useing a lite coating of the celluclay stuff along with mig productions dark mud and have sealed it with testors lustress falt. now the only problem i am having is its changed the darkness of the color form a real dark color mud to a light gray. other than that its been a smooth build so far. so here are just a few pics of whats been done.

Any chance of sharing a few of the photos. It sounds very interesting. I have never seen such a vehicle before.
The anti grenade screens indicate that the vehicle would be used as close support for the infantry close to the enemy. Could form a basis for a good diorama

lots of great builds coming together here - this is starting to look like a successful campaign!

good work people! I especially like the grenade screens on the Hummel.

as for my progress... well, work has been kicking my butt.

I have decided to go with a less challenging kit. Insteadof doing the RPM 15cm sFH 13/1, I guess I'll pull the Tamiya Wespe out of my stash and hope that build goes faster (which it is likely to do).

Hopefully I can get started on it this week

Nice, I like the Wespe, was hoping to build mine after the brummbar but I'll wait for a metal gun barrel..

well its all most all done my m108. all i have to do is put on the hub caps on the wheels after the tracks dry. if you guys have had a chance to us this gators grip acrylic hobby glue you better get some. i am impressed with this stuff. as most of you know how hard it is to get those old testors tracks to stay put in the right place. well so far no problems. the only thing i am disappointed in is my flat coat. its turned the model into a dusty type of apperance. so a few pics to come tomrrow after work. and yeahoo this is my frist completed gb on this site now i might be able to get my stryyker done in time.

After seeing quite a few of the models I can say that this is going to be a very successful campaign! As for my Grille I can't really do anything right now, progress=0. So far I've primed all the parts for the driver's compartment but I'm having problems hooking up my new AB to the compressor. I ordered a hose which will fit last week but it hasn't arrived yet. This little dilemma has delayed further progress but I'm confident the part will arrive first thing tomorrow. If not I shall be plenty pissed.

Other than that the Grille pretty much builds itself.

Hi to put images in your posts youv'e 2 options that I use. 1 you use an photo site to store your pictures on like photobucket or 2 you add them to your gallery on this site.
If using a photo site all you need to do is pull up the reply link on here as if your going to write something, you will then see under where you type little white boxes if you click on the {url] button it pulls up a url link all you do is paste in the link from your photo site inbetween the 2 sets of url .
if you save pic's on your gallery on this site all you do is when your done your writing is click the [img] . I always pull up your gallery on a seperate web page saves going backwards & forwards with pages , pull up the picture that you want , right click on it the click properites & copy the http link that comes up, you then paste that inbetween the 2 sets of [img].
hope this helps.
If you go to the main forum I'm sure there is a forum post about adding pic's

your url is not pointing at a picture. By right clicking on the broken icon and selecting "properties", I can see it currently says:
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showphoto.php/photo/288307/ppuser/19636

a picture will have something like a ".jpg" at the end.

so your image script is pointing at a webpage that contains the picture. If I go to that page and then right click on the picture there and select "properties", then I see the URL of the picture is actually:
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22562/IMG_06804.JPG

inserting that into the image brackets instead yields:

which is quite a good looking build actually. good work!

The machine gun looks a little off though. You might try giving the .50 cal a wash of black to make the details pop out, or even painting it gunmetal then either lightly drybrushing it with silver or gently rubbing it with graphite powder.
