For me, the mud looks fine on my monitor. Just the muffler is a little orange but not too bad. How did you like the build? I found gluing the superstructure on the upper hull a little difficult but wish it had an interior with the roof removable.
Yours turned out great and I like the colors of the camo you used.

About the Sturm 33 DML Kit. THe kit is showing its age but is a very good kits still. The model out of the box is from the first 12 produced off of early hulls. These have the Stug B features, no heat defelector an only on rear stowage box but do have the up right braces for the larger one. THe kit is pretty accurate for that vewrsion. Needs some towing items added and the tolls and jack need replacing. THe version I did is the later with the heat deflector and larger stowage box added. I also used a JR barrel since it had riflinf in it. I used Vallejo Model air paint on it with some washes and weathering. Tracks are Friul tracks. Mud was done the same way MIG does it on his DVD.

Nice one, Sheldon.
The photos are a bit fuzzy, but it looks good and the weatering seems realistic. The decals seem to need a little varnish to settle and blend in with the model.
Thanks for sharing

The weathering looks good, I have tired that on a scrap piece and always comes out looking more grainy than muddy but then I figure I more than likely added too much PP. Keep up the good work hope to see more weathering in the future.

Hi guys!
I haven't been here since the beginning of the campaign and it seems that I've missed a lot of great models RESPECT TO ALL OF YOU - these are really great. A lot of totally different vehicles in one place!
Since I had kind of free Saturday (thats something new for me - haven't seen free day since 5 months... ) I've been able to catch up a little. Here's the effect:
.
As soon as I have it painted I will post some more pics.

Decided to do some work on the PZ2000 still have to paint the tracks that is why they are off in the pictures. Wasn't quite sure if I should put all the EIS on now or wait to paint them first and add them on later. Made the decision to put them on later due to the required cam job for the gun. Anyway this is how far I have gotten any suggestions are greatly appreciated. The upper and lower portions of the hull have not been glued together either for ease of placing small parts.

This is Selbstfahrlafette für 28/32cm Wurfrahmen auf Infanterie-Schlepper UE(f) - German WWII box rocket launcher mounted on Renault UE Chenillette.
Taking under consideration what most of mates here are building this one is going to be the smallest vehicle depicted .

Have managed to do a small amount of work on the build . have got both sets of tubes on the back of the truck now, still sorting the wireing out.
Have also started on the truck it'self. on the whole this part of the build is going very well.
The kit is by Italeri & it's not a bad kit has a few sink holes & some minor flash to clean up but apart from that it fits nicely together. The detail on the underside of the truck body is nice.

Looks good, Andrzej. A unique and funny looking vehicle. Always good to have a day for modelling - I guess your little infantryguy has kept you busy
Shaun, good looking vehicle. It is incredible how these old Italeri models still at up to todays standards in terms of details. Good job on the launch framework. Looks very realistic.
Looking forward to see more

Thanks Jesper! You're right - it sure looks funny . It stands next to 1/16 T34 I'm building for OTEF - then it really looks funny - it is as big as the T34 engine...
Wait to see it painted - it will be even more funny then (I'm going to paint it violet with yellow monkeys painted on top of it ).
BTW - Rafal is not in infantry any more - he joined cavalery
but you're right - he knows how to make me busy.

It's a very old Tamyia kit from the 70's.
With an Eduard Zimmerit P/E, a Lion Roar Gun barrel.
the wheels and the equipment are still being painted.

Thanks Vance,
Still missing too are the side protection skirts, they look a little thick..
Instead of buying the latest Dragon or Tristar kits, I got the PE and Gun because I had that kit for years...
No major issues with the kit, despite it's age it has the same fitting as all Tamyia kits.
The P/E Zimmerit is delicate, very thin but it fits perfectly !
The Lion Roar is outstanding, great detailing, I made a small mistake with the glueing so it might be 2mm longer, the tube didn't went all the way in..

Too bad you can't find the kit, last week there was another at my LHS, along with the Tristar one too.
Well Jeff, with the instructions there isn't much info, some numbers and few division markings, all in Dark Yellow scheme, one with some dark/olive green thin lines/stripes.
I might give a try with one like this:

He looks like a good and strong kit. You must be proud.
John, good progress on the Grizzly Bear. That camouflage could look good on it. If you want to go for something more challenging some of the late Grizzlys had the camouflage made up of small circles. I have a photo and colour plate of it if you are interested.

Yes Jesper!
I'm curious.. small circles ??
The su-17/22 you're building is from which brand ? I have an eastern express, I'm not sure of the quality, I hope it won't be as bad as the BT-7...

Jesper, could you post it here? I'm quite interested too - I haven't seen this kind of camo yet.

I'd thought about joining this campaign for a while now but I decided to join today. This morning I found an old DML Hummel (kit 6004) I've tried to add it to trades for a few years now but it's been stuck in my closet. I started it this morning (it's now 10:30PM) but the light wasn't right to photo earlier progress ( I like natural light) and then it got dark (Imagine that) I have the hull together and the primary suspension and added some mud. Photos tomorrow. This is an old kit(believe me if you were around when it was initially released you hurra'd) and has been replaced by newer molds but I'm just gonna build it OOB. I can't add photos to a campaign gallery because I have too many campaign photos already-just one or two of each build, not a ton.. Unless I want to pay-but I don't so all photos will just be in the posts here. If this policy keeps up only people who pay will have photos in the campaign galleries. I suppose I could delete photos from past Campaigns if I have to.
