The chassis of the 1/12 Lola T-70. Nicknamed 'The Bastard' by me due to the fit hassles.

And a front view...

And the engine compartment...

Gulp.. I might get the nickname 'Bondo' after this one as well..

Okay, as promised, here are pics of what I am going to try and finish/repair before the end of the year. Some will prove easy to do, but others will be a weeee bit more involved. Lets see some pics of what you guys have lined up for completion. "Q"

I have a couple more, but they were being worked on when I started this campaign, so I am not going to include them. Hopefully they will be finished too! Lets see what you guys got! "Q"

I can see why you were keen to get this campaign going.

You win

OK here is what I have. These where all started before I moved way back in November of 2007. Eight kits in all,and hopefully I can get most of them done in time along with what I started since I unpacked everything last summer (3 other started around then) !

Dragon 1/72 Panther 95% done, weathering detail parts, markings still to go.

Tamiya 3.7 Flak Weathering and such as well

Alan Flammpanzer II, lots to do maybe 40% done.

Tamiya Tiger I mid production w/Eduard etch and ??zimm 15%? complete.

Dragon 1/72 Ferdinand 50% complete.

Tamiya Field kitchen

Tamiya/Academy M113 ACAV "kitbash" Interior and engine done still a way to go.

AND FINALLY, some wingthingy Revell? ME 109/G w/resin cockpit and some other things...this one may never make it I think its missing some major parts and I haven't built a plane since I was a kid.
There you have it lots to keep me busy...wish me luck!

This is great. I have been waiting for ages for a Campaign like this to come along. I have at least 12 kit in various stages of completion, and last week decided to finish at least half of them before starting any others, though i accidentally started an M4A3 about half an hour later. Going to try and tackle them in an Axis then Allied, Axis etc order, starting with the Dragon Elephant that i started about 5 years ago. Just needs paint.
Good luck everyone.

Welcome Dean. As I look at the number of folks who signed up, it keeps growing and growing which is a good thing. Hopefully everybody will get some if not all of their projects knocked out....so they can do it all over again with some other builds I won't be able to start on mine just yet. Too many irons in the fire at the moment including some work on a 1:1 vehicle that I need to focus on at least for a little while. Don't forget to post some pics of your builds, both in progress and completed if you can. Thanks, "Q"

Weel this is what I'm starting with;

Was checking up on how to make hessan tape and gathered the needed materials so I think I'll go ahead with my 1st choice and see if I can finish it.

Will have to be a kind of secondary thing to start with,
Good luck everyone,
Bob

We shall see!

Wow, finish two builds! My wife would be surprised if I could get one done. I am just so insanely SLOW.

I take it then that this is not just restricted to armour.? Anything goes. I've about 30 kits in total started and not completed, may have to extend the deadline a little!

The campaign is not designed to have somebody finish all of their unfinished kits, but it is a bonus if they do. It merely gives the builder the chance to work on multiple subjects for the same campaign. Whether you finish one or a hundred and one, you will get credit for the campaign. I am using this as a means/justification for finishing all of my 1/2 or otherwise un-finished kits. So far so good. "Q"
ps. Since I ran this out to the end of the year, which should be ample time to at least finish one kit that is partially built, I probably won't be extending any deadlines.

So many stalled projects, so little time . . . for my entry I decided to go with the Alanger T-35 I started many, many moons ago, mainly because I got a set of metal barrels and Fruils for it ($60+ aftermarket for a kit I picked up for $20, which gives you an idea how long ago I got them).

These are my entries;
a sd.kfz. 250/8 and a M3 75mm. Both kits were given to me halfbuild and I will try to finish them, along with the other things that are going on.

This is just the kind of thing to get me started again, and a good way to introduce myself to the forum. I've been lurking for quite some time (probably too much ). I build mostly Allied armor from WWII, and have plenty started to enter in this campaign:

Tamiya 1/35 Cromwell (with a few add-ons)
Tasca 1/35 Firefly
Hobbyboss 1/35 M4 High Speed Tractor

to name just a few.

Just as a way of introduction: I'm Dutch, have been living in the US for about 18 years. I've modeled since I was a kid, started with 1/76 Airfix and Matchbox, then did HO trains for a long time. Now I do a little bit of everything, although my main focus is Allied armor from WWII and anything related to the Dutch armed forces. I also am quite involved in painting 1/72 figures.

Like I said, I've been following this forum for quite some time and really see amazing work. I hope someday to reach that kind of standard. I'll post some pictures of what I'm going to try to finish for this campaign shortly.

Well, this one started off conveniently right after the eastern front campaign started. I'm in too.
I'll be trying to get that T-70 of mine done.

Even though the campaign deadline is at the end of the year, I'm not making any promises.
