Well, this is what it looked like at the end of the APC/AFV Campaign back in June.
This is what it looked like this afternoon
BMP-1 is a Zvezda kit, with Modelpoint replacement barrel, Armorscale antenna mount, and Masterclub tracks. Everything went together well, although the replacement track was exceptionally troublesome to attach - the resin track links kept seperating as the pins were often not strong enough to take the tension when the track was wrapped around the drive sprocket/idler/road wheels. Lots of glue and some alcohol finally got the job done.
Might add a bit more dirt to it, but at this point, I'm calling it done!

At last I can this one is DONE! There was a moment during the build when I thought it will not happen in my life. The paint is may be still wet somewhere. More pictures I will try to do tommorow and then I'll publish them here if you wish.

So is the campaign still going for this day? I already thought it ended because I noticed it was gone from the 'campaigs' page's listing. Phew!
I'm about this close [holds thumb and index finger tips together] to completion.

Here is my entry...an old Tamiya jagdpanzer IV that was sitting around for the last year or so that was half painted. So she's now finished...for the time being. I found an old Mongram figure from the model building days of my youth and thought it was appropriate to add it given the theme of the build.
Thanks everyone !

Done!
There's still a few things I want to do, but since I'm running out of time (gotta get in time to a concert, new year's celebrations, what have you), I'll call this one finished.
I'll post more and better pics to the build thread.
Thanks for running the campaign!

Hi All,
I'm going to bail out of this one I'm afraid, I really thought we still had a month to go on this and I'm still way off of finishing my 3 projects, must have been too much xmas cheer that's affected my memory, sorry guys. Great work on all those who have finished their projects, top work indeed.

I'm afraid my Tamiya M5A1 Stuart will have to wait for a future "Get the Job Done" campaign to be finished. The great thing was that this campaign did get me a bit farther along!

Howdy Y'all
I'm afraid I have to bail on this also. We just moved into a new house and I'm still unpacking and fixing the place up a little. I enjoyed watching everyone's progress.

Sorry to see some of you guy bailing, but I understand. For the rest of you, you have until midnight MY TIME....that 12am or 2400 for you military minded people, here in Colorado. So for you folks in Europe, you get some bonus time. California folks.....better get busy as you lose an hour... Don't forget to post your pics in the gallery as it will make it a lot easier for me to see who is complete and who is not. Thanks everybody, and Happy New Year!! "Q"

Click on the "PHOTOS" tab near the top of the page. This takes you to the KitMaker Gallery. If you have never been there, you might have to sign in. At the upper-right corner, click the "Login" tab. You should be able to sign in with your Armorama user name and password.
Once signed in, in the list of galleries below click on "Campaigns" , then "Currently Active Campaigns", then "! Get the Job Done...Again". In the upper-right corner, click on "Upload Photos". Click on one of the "Choose File" buttons. Your browser should then pop up a window to let you navigate to the photo you want to upload. Once you choose that, you can keep doing this to upload more than one photo. Once done, look below for a "Upload/Submit" button and click on it, then wait for the KitMaker Gallery to do the upload(s). That should be it.

Thank you Matthew for the campaign and the ribbon and of course thank you all for participation. It was my first campaign since I registered in Kitmaker and have to say it was a great fun for me. It was probalby the one and only motivation for me to get this model done. Well, maybe there should be the same campaign on Aeroscale 'cos I still have a few airplanes to be done

Well, time got away from me, and being away from my workbench for the last 10 days of the year didn't help either.... My Cromwell is still in the weathering stages. I will post some pictures of it here when it's done.
That said though, I really have to thank Matt for hosting this campaign. It is the reason why I started to really get into modeling again, so I'm not too disappointed I didn't finish. In addition, it's always great to see what others are doing and learn from that. A campaign like this one also goes to show the variety of subjects that everyone models.
Happy New Year everyone!
