Hi Mobious,
Yip bikes are cool, opportuity for some British ones too as there aren't any in 1/35 plastic!!
Al
That is a cool photo. That would be a great scratchbuild project or maybe even a conversion. The springer front suspension is very cool. I like it!

Hi Guys,
Been quite here for a while, what are you all up to? I've been working on my second jeep and crew, have got some airborne containers to play with and a couple more walking paras to build, that I picked up at Duxford.
I picked up the RASC jeep conversion cheap at Hannants it was in their OOP section so still at the old price.
I have spotted a couple of civilians that might fit in with the scene and next month hope to start gathering up some stuff for the ground work.
OK over to you, lets see what you've been up to?
Cheers

Hey Allen, I've picked up a 1/35 Tamiya Jeep. Have a few projects in the works, before I can get to it. I'd planned on fitting a driver and a few other figures for it. The project I'm currently working on has taken more time than anticipated, but should be finishing up shortly.
Looking forward to updates.

Hey Alan, WOW!, that looks great. The detail is stunning. Very nice.
I was planning on a captured jeep pressed into service. It won't be as nice as the pair you've built. Those are great fella, and I'm looking forward to seeing the layout again. I'd read earlier that you planned on adding a couple of natives (Dutch Civilians) to the scene.

The jeep looks great Alan. My project is stalled for a while but hope to get it restarted next week.

Hi Mo,
A captured one would be good. I've been looking at Then and Now and there are quite a variation in evidence, some more converted than others.
Hi Pat,
Thanks, look forward to you getting underway again.

Wow, Alan. those are a couple of beauties. I really like the folded windscreens. The stowage is just great! I've no idea what color an airborne petrol can would be.
My project has stalled, for now, working on a few other (late) projects. Hope to be up and running again soon.
Thanks for posting the progress, and will be looking forward to seeing more.

The jeeps are turning out very good, Alan!
But I think your dio will be huge with all the equipment you are producing....
Would Airborne pertol cans be any different from regular army cans?

Hi Mo,
Thanks, hope you get back on track.
Hi Ron,
Again thanks, yes they are a light colour, possibly white or light yellow/buff, but I can't tell which as I have only seen B & W pics of them so far.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
the main build of these two is about done, stores, weapons and light weathering to do plus some crew.
Do you think the window screen would support someone sitting on it?
Also making a driver for the first one in BD leaning forward with his arms resting on the steering wheel.

Hi Alan,
Got to say it m8 but thats real brill work you got going on there, looks like you have enough jeeps for a reconnaissance squadron.
Just got back from me hols with the family so time to crack on with my little project but from time to time i lose my mojo,as i find it a struggle to try and build a canopy for the horsa that im building but as for you just keep that great work up it will look amazing when you have it all done,

Hi Guys,
Glad to know your still around. I'm really looking forward to an update from Keith (hint, hint), the Bridge scene he's building looks terrific.
Hat's off to you Shauny if you are scratching a glider, that would be brillient.
Look forward to some updates.

Hi Mo,
Thanks. As Matt pointed out the troops should have rank on the Right Hand Sleeve only, so a little fixing required on them.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Here's the latest 2. Unfortunately the Bren barrel broke so I had to replace it with a Tamiya weapon and a new hand. Couldn't get the original pose which I liked but them's the breaks.
I do dislike resin weapons and things moulded onto hands/arms, real pain when they break as they tend to do.
