Really creative Matt!

Tell me about the proposed paint scheme??

Thanks Steve. As for the paint scheme, initially I was thinking of going with a splinter pattern in differing greys. Not sure I will pursue that though. Still tossing around ideas at the moment. I still have a lot of work to do on the vehicle itself with the fenders, pioneer tools, recessed area details, etc. Maybe something will come to me as I continue. Again, thanks for the kudos, glad you like it. "Q"
ps. The gun kit is extremely nice. There are a few fiddly areas, but they are doable.

Matt, I like the sound of that colour scheme, and the trailer looks amazing! Nice work

Steve waiting eagerly to see how your build is coming along, was looking good where you left off

Been painting the Tiger tonight, a scheme inspired by that e-100 Stug splinter camo pic you posted steve, hopefully have some pics up later tonight, had a mishap with the primer coat, can nozzle got clogged then shot a ton out onto the model, luckily it was the road wheels that got it and its going to be a fairly dirty/muddy tank so i should be able to hide most of that.

Dan-
no way I have lost interest in this Campaign man!

The only modeling I have been doing is checking this thread and my other favorite forums.
I have been re-modeling my workshop and, while I am sure that spackling will help me develop my puttying skills, I have had enough! SICK OF IT!

I'll be back to my wheeled "What-If" soon. Meanwhile really enjoying watching the progress you all are making.

Shame about that nasty seam in the corner. Who made the workshop kit...Matchbox? Looking good. Just recently put up a cover over our patio so I can sympathise. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. Got a late night at work tonight. "Q"

Steve - Nice I only wish I had a modeling room, I guess i'll have to make do with my bedroom haha

Finally got round to taking some pics of the Tiger, airbrushed, decaled, and Future'd/Klear'ed, incidentally, the new formula over here in the UK has changed, renamed "Pledge Multi-surface wax" it is a creamy brown tinted coulour out of the bottle, dries completely clear though, and the tiger has a definate pine-fresh smell to it haha just thought i'd let people know if they havent already tried the new packaging.

and so, without further ado.... pictures!

Saving as Jpeg has altered the colours slightly, the green is no where near as vibrant, more of a muted tone and the dark yellow is a little more creamy, but ah well, i'll fiddle around later.

Plan for tonight is Filters and pin washes, so hopefully there will be some more updates soon.

thanks

- Dan

ps, anyone know which AFV Club centurion would be appropriate for WW2 had it carried on a little longer? Or which one would be easiest to back-date?

Thanks again.

Nylonathatep- that is some impressive scratchbuilding- looks great!

Dan- paint looks good man- I knew you could build that mantlet.!!

Matt- I had to make some tough decisions on drywall alignment but it is looking better and better. The gap in the corner will be completely obscured on the finished product. The important thing is ~350 square feet and 30 electrical outlets- plug in a tool and never unplug it until you move to a new house.

Sweet. When I got my man-room I had a lot of planning in mind. I have revamped it once or twice since I moved in about 3 1/2 years ago, so I can understand your excitement. Mine is approximately 650 sf. and is almost too small at times. I guess I need to reduce the stash ....NEVER! Model on. "Q"

You are a lucky man!

Name it. I'll post a pic or two of my shop once I get it cleaned a bit. Putting some stuff together for selling and it is really a mess at the moment, not to mention a bunch of review items I have scattered around on the floor, display cases etc. Thanks, "Q"

Andrew - Thanks means a lot as i'm such a newbie here haha I can't wait to see how yours all turn out. Ive moved on a fair way since those pics, Washes, little bit of drybrushing and oil dot filters/fading and matt coated now. Just letting it all set up over night

guys
i decided last week to finish this one too
its a 25pder churchill mk 7
ive put Royal Ulster Rifles Infantry markings as a what if
infantry support tank permantly attached to the unit
the tanks name is a scenic area of mountains overlooking Belfast the whole tank was painted in humbrol 150 with black disruptive cammo
with shamrocks painted down each for that extra Ulster touch
all the markings are hand painted which is a very usefull skill as you can put what you like on whatever you like
i put a wash over the whole thing and a little dry brushing
hope you like it
regards andrew

Well thanks Steve

The hull isn't finished yet but I decided to jump ahead and start work on the turret shell.

Miloslav- Brilliant paint! Great looking model- thanks for posting that up. Its inspiring!

Michael- I love to see stuff like your work. Your parts are so accurately cut that I don't see any putty. Very hard to pull off- clearly this is not your first scratchbuild.
