Miloslav, that panther looks great! I have a Panther G sitting half done on my shelf in a similar scheme, might just have to get on and finish it now haha
Andrew, thats a fantastic looking tank, very mean looking for an allied tank, well done
After a little hiccup with oil fading on the tiger its now sporting a distressed winter whitewash, winter '45 in the alps I reckon, while that was drying I'v sorted out my next What-if
Here's a little teaser if you will of what it's going to look like...
Thanks and let me know what you think

Wow! Really great ideas in this campaign. I just joined the campaign but I am going to be a little more goofy. I have a Panther kit and was thinking....What If the band Kiss actually did have an Army? Given they are all about showmanship and not so much about practicality, I have some areas of opportunity.
Now to figure out how to put dragon scales on the fringes of the tank.

Thinking infantry with face paint. Got the destroyer back ground working. Decided tanks name should be "Love Gun". I should see if I can get a Marshall stack riding on the back.

Dan, did you create that image yourself? If so what software are you using for it? And is it difficult? Just curious because I think it's really cool if you can present your projects in that way.

Tony that sounds like it will be a fun build! Cannot wait to see how it goes
John - Yeah using a program called Cinema 4D, It's fairly easy once you get to grips with it there is just a bit of a learning curve as with all things really. Yeah I like being able to do it, because it also means i can quickly see what will look good and play with colour schemes and things.
I can upload some pictures of other things I have done with it if you would like to see some?

John,
I lifted the image off the web. I have some decal paper that Testors makes for ink jet printers and plan on printing the decals for the side of the turret.
Q,
That tank looks really cool so far.

Good progress Scotty !
My 'Cent' is coming along.
The Hull is basically finished and just needs weathering - the Polish decals (from Hussar 'Polish Shermans') have come up a treat..
I need to finish off the turret and add some aerials - then the stowage all around.. The Lion Marc Chally II Barrel screams "Show me another E100 to blow away !"
Pics later on
Cheers

Miloslav- Brilliant paint! Great looking model- thanks for posting that up. Its inspiring!
Michael- I love to see stuff like your work. Your parts are so accurately cut that I don't see any putty. Very hard to pull off- clearly this is not your first scratchbuild.
Steve
Just remember measure twice then use a hammer
And no, it's not even close to being my first scratch built model, but then again I like building stuff no one else has.
Anyway finished up the main armoured components and gave them a suitably rough cast surface, and fitted the suspension units. Just needs completed tracks, track guards and tool bins, periscopes, antennas, commander's cupola, a few little bits and pieces, and a paint job.
Has anyone figured out what this one is meant to be yet?

i dont know what it is but it looks flaming excellent
i like the hvss tracks
it reminds me of the m6 heavy tank
and calling m4a2 sherman
that super t34 would sure deal with the big heavy german tanks
it looks like the russians have used german parts for their own needs in the same way they modified pz hulls with their 76mm guns
im looking forward to seeing it painted
regards andrew
heres my 4inch 8th kings royal irish haussars recon tank

Andrew, Nice build!
I have noticed quite a few conversion kits have armor shields made of copper (?). How thick is it usually? I have some thin sheets of tin, copper and bronze that is typically used for making jewelry. Was thinking about adding some shields and new guns on top of the 1/35 scale Panther. The thickness does not need to exact just close enough for rock and roll.

Obviously- if you miss a few days here you miss a lot! Great stuff to look at and some interesting ideas too.
Q- I like this model a lot! Even more so because you are 13 and already hacking up kits, using styrene and adding Zimmerit! At your age most people are trying to build what is on the boxtop!
You are a creative guy- KEEP IT UP! Seriously- KEEP up the good work!
Michael- I would love to have half your skill man! Please keep posting your progress. Like it!!
Andrew- another great one! This thread is becoming a great showcase for your work!
Scott- The Leopard looks great with the Camo-
Paul- The Centurian is really coming along well too. Reactive Armor!
Tony- KISS themed Panther?? I recommend you back off on the party materials my friend.

Wow everyones builds are looking great, definitely an awesome campaign we've got here! Can't wait to see more.
Apologies for the lack of updates been away from the bench for a while, so here we go...
Tiger in a thoroughly worn winter camo, thinking like jan '46 for this, in the "Alpine Fortress" had it ever happened. I still need a name for this tank, any ideas?
And my other what-if, updated KV, based around the experimental KV220 but not quite as large, more of an attempt to keep the tank as an important part of russian tank forces throughout the war and into 1946-7
Look forward to hearing your comments/ideas
