Got first bit of paint on my LAV-R last night and put my first wash on the wheels. I figured it may be easier to do that when they are off the vehicle. Hopefully, I will post pictures tonight.

Greetings everyone,

It's down to the wire and I like what I've viewed. The Panther and M48 Bridge Launcher are really nice. I manage to paint the interior of my M113 Dozer. I hope to have the exterior done tomorrow and decals on Sunday. The bright and shiny Sentry Knome is present to sacrifice himself if small hands make their way to the booth

All the best,
Brian

I don't know, but I'm trying to get this one done

upper and lower hull details and assemblies are done. The gap seam between the upper and lower hull will be putty filled after I get the track links done

Sticking a fork in it!**

AVLB done, with erm... minor flaws with paint job,
Because my a/b was doing a very good imitation of a hubble-bubble pipe, I dry-brushed with A mix of Vallejo dark green, white & yellow, but it looks like I smeared with with hair gel!

Like all good chefs, I reserve the right to 'rest' this for a few minutes before decaling. These guys will guard them for me.

I usually leave a model for a few days before going over any minor corrections anyway, & a shot of mat Future as well
I'll blog this soon in a seperate thread

**Darbyshire idiom: means done!

Got the kit finished. It is pretty much built from the kit except for the pieces I needed to make from scratch. "Gravity some times is not our friend." Sorry for the poor quality picture.

Hello Spongya, I wish not to be the bearer of bad news but the campaign concludes tonight. We offically ended on December 31st. but it was extended for one month for us slow pokes! Please do not let that stop you from building something really neat and enjoyable.

As for my project Sudzonic (Scott), I'm having issues getting the photos to load in the campaign gallery I've been trying for over an hour. I'm walking away from it so to speak for now but I will get them posted.

I had a couple last minute issues with the kit decals. They started cracking so I decided on dry tranfers for all the markings. I like how they look when applied but they are a nightmare for me to use. I can never seem to get them all in a straight line. I even marked a line in scotch tape to align them up yet they still came out crooked.

I'm also considering replacing the tracks with the AFV Club set I think it would look tons better. Oh well, here it is in all its stock and scratch built glory. Thanks for a fun campaign!

All the best,
Brian

excellent work everyone. We had scratchbuilders, super detailers and master painters all in the same place. Building the best scale model subject matter

well I didn't complete my project but I had a good time. Thanks Sudzonic !

as of tonight, just a few minutes ago, I finished the tracks. My first time ever building individual link tracks and I didn't even put them on backwards

Hey Scott, Everybody, I see some great builds in here. I originally was going to build a T-34 Bridge and after some debate here went off to work it out. As usual, I over-thought the process and life came a creepin'. As I blew the initial deadline I logged in to look at all the cool builds and read about the extension. No problem, thought I.
Then life took 3 turns for the worse, none of them expected. I now find myself bound to my wife's side in the evenings so I can take care of her which gave me time to work on a kit but no innovative, scratchbuilding genius (not that I have any in the first place) from being able to sit at the bench. Since I burned out on the initial project, I pulled out the CMK Morserzugmittel kit sitting on my shelf and forced myself to build it. Dusted it with pastels this evening and had to mess around with the pictures because of the Storms starting to roll through here. The kit is actually a nice little piece to build with only a few minor fit issues. I threw a splash of Eduard PE and a tissue paper tarp in the mix and it came out alright.

Thanks for running this campaign Scott and double thanks for the extension.
PS Ko, I have that kit too but I'm not so sure about building it seeing all the trouble you're having.
