Oh Ok Harv, I thought the Thompson was in a mount of some type there. I also don't like to add to much weathering until the kit is at it's final destination Do you plan on putting it in a dio with some crew standing around
Also lots of great work going on here with a wide range of topics

good progress AND finishes in here. I barely started on the IT-28 bridge layer (pics soon)
anyone have on-line sources (except evay) for the ESV kit that seb43 built? I like to get one of those

I might later on down the road. I have too many other projects going on at the time. I would like to use it in a scene where the crew is getting ready to hook up a captured German armored car maybe. Or possibly have them getting ready to retrieve an American M8 armored car that had been captured by the Germans and then recaptured by the Americans.
The possibilities are plentiful.
Thanks again,
Harv

Base paint is finally on and I have started on the tracks.

Great build, Randy. A little clean for an enginering vehicle, but that is a personal choice as you point out yourself. Very realistic with a well disiplined crew and a good sergeant
The "worked in" busy look of the vehicle is great. It would look great in a diorama.

Thank you for the comments Jesper. I appreciate them.

I may end up going back and dirtying it up a little more. It is fairly dirty and dusty with some grease marks, some rust and some chipping but it doesn't show up too well in the photos due to the fact that my photography skills suck at best!!
Thanks again,
HARV

Hi guys,
it's been a while but who knew buying a new house is so much trouble. looking at Harv's pics, I realized they've got the real thing at the museum in Overloon which is near the place I live. The museum is famous for having the camouflage on their Panther applied by 4 year old kits (had to get it of my chest )
I finally finished my VT-72B. Thank you all for your postive comments, it really motivated me to finish this hard to build kit. My photography skills still haven't improved
seems I have to straighten out those hydraulic cilinders......
I wish you all good luck on your projects, I'll be finishing some half finished kits before the soft skins campaign starts. I'll still follow this thread because I'm really curious how the end results of your builds will be
cheers,
Matthijs

Read the thread called "For Those New to Armorama Campaigns". It includes information about how to get to a campaign gallery. Once you are there, it is the same as uploading to your member gallery.

The more of these Sherman recovery vehicles I see the more I am tempted to try one. there is some good work being done here and I look forward to doing the round up at the end.

Darren, Great progress on that Bergepanther. The zimmerit looks nice and the "steel" look of the rear blade seems very realistic. Looking forward to see more.
Here is a little progress shot of my Borgward demolition vehicle. weathering is (very) slow, but I am getting there.
More to follow.

The hardest part about that blade is knowing when to stop and leave the damn thing alone, so thank you for the comments. I cannot comment on the Borg as I know nothing about it other than “resistance is futile”.
