Here is my finished entry for this campaign. The Borgward demolition vehicle. To illustrate the purpose of this vehicle and create a "break" in the camouflage I painted the demolition charge in a different camouflage pattern than the vehicle itself.
The Borgward seems to be a pretty failed design. At least I would not want to be the poor soldier driving this demolition charge towards enemy fortifications. It could also be remotely controlled, but that also seems to to be a difficult proposition to carry out in practice.
Comments welcome.

The model is finished as regards this campaign as I cannot do more to it until I get the diorama sorted, and that I am afraid is going to take at least another six months. I have placed a few pictures here and there are more in the Blog on this site where I will continue the diorama this model is for.
Thanks for what has been an enjoyable campaign with some very good models now finished or near completion.

Thanks a lot, Scott. Appreciate it
Great build, Darren. Very nice Bergepanther. The interior looks very realistic and "busy". Thanks for participating.

Thank you. I hope it will look better when it has a crew with their kit and some weapons, I also have the tool kits and a couple of Panzer Fausts to place. My mind is not set yet as to if to show it finished work, starting work, or towing a recovered Panther in the diorama, and that is why I cannot take it any further at this time. I will place some pictures of the hoist and some recovery frames I am working on in here.

Brilliant Darren!
My entry is AFV's M88A1 recovery vehicle, Got most if it together, just need to work out the colours for her in Humbrol, then the fun begins!
Actually would anyone have or know of, any plans or drawings for the M88 re: the NATO camo scheme? Just need a rough guide to lay down the paint work for her. Anyway, the update;

I will be interested in seeing how you get around the poor instructions for the winch, as in the route the cable takes.

Italeri's M32 with a Dragon M4A1 upper hull, Academy driver/ co-driver/ transmission in the lower hull. I have added extra interior detail to the "turret". Suspension will be a combo of Dragon & Italeri.
Had a real "slow" period where I could not get anything done. Hope I can meet the deadline!

Hey all,
Despite my good intentions, a combination of real life and other builds has kept me from getting far with my entry. As it is now early November and my kit will be rather complicated I am admitting defeat and withdrawing from the Campaign. (That way I can build mine slowly and get it right rather than rush the job for a deadline. This is the second recent campaign I've had to pack in - I was far too ambitious early in the year!)
I like the builds that have been posted so far!

Hi all.
Here are some progress shots of my Trumpeter Bergepanzer IV. Not too many hassles so far but I am pretty sure that it should be cable where the kit uses a chain.. or am I incorrect?
Sorry bout the blurry chain thingy..
Moldelling on, and on and on...
Oh, and I cheated and left the interior out as I will use it in another build..

Hi All.
Here is my finished Trumpeter 1/35 Bergepanzer IV.
This is the first engineering type vehicle I have built. Hopefully there will be another engineer vehicle campaign as I have a few more in the stash!

Looks good, Warren. Did you go for the fresh from the factory look? Otherwise a few washes and dirt could give it a more used look. The tracks especially look very clean. Very nice details on the rigging on the crane.

Hello Jesper.
I don't do many factory fresh ones and I thought I might for a change. They have just set the crane up to test it and nicked off for some lunch..

I am really surprised at how many people have taken on Italeri kits for this campaign, and how well they are coming together. I hope all the work that is still in progress gets finished.
