Nice Panzer IV's!
This is as far as I've gotten. I think I must have un-enlisted from the campaign at some point so no gallery.

@ greg, why don't you put the stug as finished, i would be happy with where you are at with it, that way you can call the campaign complete
ok finally finished mine, here are a couple of pictures, i have posted a few others on the campaign site....
wow this is my first campaign, and it just happens to be my most favourite tank

Some really nice builds showing up as the campaign winds down. Mark, that real track is a nice touch and I am jealous. I could probably fit a half dozen or more of my 1/72 versions on it alone.
Greg - Greg, you can still get to the campaign enlistment page. I don't know if you can re-enlist, but why not give it a try. Here is the URL to the page:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=344
Cheers,
Jan

@ Mark - congrats on the finish - I too like the rusty track and the nice collection surrounding it.
@ Jan - the enlist button is gone now so I think I'm SOL

thanks guys appreciate the feedback... i am thinking of entering the track with a couple versions of not so well know panzer iv variations in the next local contest...
i really had fun making the panzer with trailer for this campaign, tried a few different techniques, found out i don't really like the MIG filters (at least the one for panzer grey) it leaves a blue residue that did just not look right, ended up having to respray the veh again....

Hey Guys, This was a great campaign with lots of different version built. I just took a look through the gallery and counted 21 different entries. But the tread seemed to have more guys with in progress work, so brake out those cameras and upload those photos

Nice Panzer, Eetu. In keeping with a lot of great builds here. As we get down to the wire I'd like to thank Byron for proposing and leading a memorable campaign. Got to love these Workhorses!
Just to show that its had an effect on me. Here's a couple of pictures of my entry and its older ESCI brother. The older one is 20+ years old and was quite a mess. I've stripped it down and have started the repaint and rebuild.
Cheers,
Jan

I have managed to get my Stug done with 15minutes to go before midnight. It was a bit of a task but it came good in the end. Here are some photos of the finished kit..
I hope you like them, hope you all got your builds finished in time and thanks once again to the campaign organisers, it really was a blast.
All the best,
Paul

I’m on the wire but here it is! This is a far as I could get. Couldn’t decide on the weathering for this vehicle. Anyhow, a rebuilt Panzer IV with late model running gear and tracks. Southern Russia 1943.
@rtvmodeler – I do hope that your doing well. Please post pictures of your model when you get the chance I would like to see how you’ve come along on your build when you’re finished. I currently have an ongoing build log in the WWII section that I had started during this campaign for my original entree and would really like to see you post your finished build photos there. I will restart my build log again soon and it would be wonderful to see your Panzer IV there too. Hoping to see your super detailed build there, OK! Until then take good care of yourself.
@GregCloseCombat – Your Stug IV looks really nice with the Zimmerit. It looks the business with the large numbers on the side of the superstructure. Hoping to see this one when you’ve weathered it and sitting on a base.
@squidgy – That is a unique looking Panzer IV you put together. You did an excellent job. I’m sure it wasn’t easy considering the little time that you had to manage with. Don’t accidentally drop that rusted out and heavy Panzer IV track on any of your builds?
@madmax5510 – And who told you that you could replace those ugly Zvezda tracks with a set of Academy tracks? For two days build time it came out nice. You must not have slept – didn’t you?
@Jedge3 – Looks the part! That baby has been through a sand storm of the highest magnitude. I’m just going to have to go all out on the dirt and mud thing like you and Bob, aka ‘Bigrip74’ have done at least on one of my builds.
@tread_geek – You just know you picked a bad time to stop sniffing glue when you suddenly had that urge again and spilled the whole jar of glue and of course accidentally got it on some of your builds but you had to get a strong whiff of the wonderful scent to keep things real . . . hua! Great job on your build. Lots of work but it came out nice and looks the part.
@Marnix – That looks really abused and cold. I especially like the Toma shields. Good job on the winter white wash.
@eMan – A Panzer IV Ausf A. Nice. Like the weathering. I don’t believe I’ve seen this kit on the market with the exception of the Cyber-Hobby kit.
@FredRMA – Is that the sister / brother of my Panzer IV build? Nice job on the camouflage.
@Emeritus – Is that a Finnish Panzer IV or what? Looks superb. Great job on the Zimmerit, looks really the part with the weathering.
@spacewolfdad – And that suppose to be just a war game piece? Incredibly detailed, painted and weathered. That camouflage looks fantastic. I really like that faded and somewhat bleached out effect that you’ve achieved on the camouflage with the weathering. You seem to have lost one of the towing rope hooks on the rear upper hull? You must have been in quite a rush during the photo shoot? Glad to see you made it just under the wire. Good show!
@Ruffus and @GaryKato – Thanks for the campaign. It was a lot of fun and gave me the opportunity to complete one more model that I otherwise would not have gotten done.
-Eddy

Why are my gallery photos showing a date of 03-01-2011 when I had uploaded them earlier in the evening of 02-28-2011? What's up with that? I checked my GMT time and everything seems to be in order. Any hints or something I missed?

Yep, Finnish it is. And thanks, glad you like it.
Th model represents a Panzer as they appeared in 1944. In factory colours, with just the German markings overpainted and Finnish markings hastily applied. The side schurzen and their mounts were also removed very shortly after arrival.
Requested when the Soviet offensive began in early June, three shipments totaling 15 Panzers arrived in August. Arriving too late to be wielded against the Russians, they were transported north to take part in the Lapland War against the Germans.

Not sure why but we know there are things like time differences, Internet problems, and Real Life that can get in the way of uploading final build images so there is some leeway as far as the deadline is concerned.

@GaryKato - Thanks for the speedy reply. Your always on the job here. So when do you find the time to do some modeling?
@Emeritus – Thanks for the history behind your build. Very interesting! I now recall you posting a photograph of one of these vehicles crossing a bridge.
@squidgy - I don't know the kit number but it's most likely to be the Cyber-Hobby one-off editions. You could try eBay? Hope this helps.
