Good job on the interior Rodolfo. Maybe you should have added styrene that was half as thick and place it at both sides? If you open the hatches, it being off-center, might be noticable?

Hi Folks. Just a few images of the finished build. Looking back IŽd consider this a fun and enjoyable build. Went together well, and with some care and a little dry fitting, here and there, it should be no problems. More info and images can found at the link below.

Nice work so far gents, really impressed by the quality. I've made some progress on the running gear of mine, but I doubt you're all much interested in pics of a drive sprocket (even if it is made up of 7 parts and very nicely detailed).
What I have done is started on the figure who will be examining my knocked out Pz.IV
Question for all you experts - the return rollers on the Ausf.C were as far as I can tell a steel hub with rubber rims, however the knocked out MiG Pz.IV doesn't have anything at all where there should surely be a steel hub with the rubber burnt off, as on the road wheels? I guess I either going to have to scratch build the hubs or sand off the "rubber" from the plastic kit parts?

Very nice build, Frank. A real nice looking Brummbar.
Rodolfo, Excellent interior. That will look excellent with paint on it.

Somehow, I think is much more work involved in doing a knocked out tank -or airplane for that matter- that doing a regular "working" one, you will have to show fuel, electric and hidraulic lines, juncion boxes etc. etc.; if you are going all the way, you got balls man!!
This, is just the base for your proyect.

Good luck and lots of pacience.

Byron, I'm not doing the full-on knocked out tank - I only have the burnt out wheels from this set. I included the pic of destroyed model to point out the missing return rollers.

Hi Byron,
I have just enlisted for this campaign, I hope you are accepting late entries. I am currently building a PzIVJ which is featured in the Braille Scale group, can I use this for the campaign? If not I have other Panzer IV projects I can use. Look forward to joining in. Do I need to post the progress to date on this group if the J is acceptable?
All the best,
Paul

Well Paul, welcome aboard.
is this the Panzer IV J you are building?

Seems pretty much on his way; when did you start it? You have to remember first, that this is not a contest, the point is to build something as a group, between the start to the finish day; second, you can't "share" a model with another group (at least in Armorama). So, I think it would be better if you start with a new one.
Happy Modeling

Hi Byron,
No problems I will build something else, I have several models to choose from. I might plump for the Dragon StugIV as I like that kit a lot, there again I have their Panzerjager IV/L70 which is nice as well and I have the Mirage IVD. I will start with the Stug IV and see how that goes. Thanks for letting me enlist a bit late, I will get cracking and start posting the build as it progresses.
All the best,
Paul

I edited your post so the image would show. Check out the thread "For Those New to Armorama Campaigns". Near the end of the thread, I added something to help with adding images from KitMaker Gallery to forum posts. (I guess it's now more in the middle of the thread).

If you put your photos up on PhotoBucket you dont have to put them in the gallery to in order to get them in the tread. Click on:

Hi Byron,
I'm new to this site and just joined your new campaign. The panzer IV is my favorite tank of WWII. I have just about all the variants made in 1/35th scale. I am very much looking forward to seeing some of the other modelers photos as well.
I was checking out the campaign site and can't find the campaign gallery for when I'm ready to post some photos.
My build will be the Italeri 1/35th scale Panzer IV F1-F2-G kit converted with the MB Models conversion kit to make the Panzer IV E. I've had both kits for over 10 years and finally got to building it. I started it about a month ago and have a few photos to post. Thanks.
Steve

Hey Byron,
I went on that link you sent me and tried to upload some photos. It said this category can't contain photos. What do I do now?

Hey Byron,
Never mind. My photos were too big. I reconfigured them and put them in my album. Check out my albums under "Workhorse - Panzer IV project.
Thanks for the help.
