Hi guys!
I'm a newbie here but I'd like to join this campaign with Tamiya T-72 kit.
With addition of Friul tracks,Voyager PE and smoke discharge and RBModel barrel. My inspiration for the model:

I just need to know how does this whole campaign works, is there somewhere any tutorial? Or someone could write me a PM with explanation

cheers

I'm not quite sure on the Armored Vehicle, but the "Wingy thing" I believe I'll be building will be the a PZL P11c with the markings of Stanislaw Brzeski (Sept '39).

MIrage Kit, Techmod decals.

Cheers

Hey, Paul, could've told me 'bout the other cool campaign you got going!
Almost missed it. In fact, since I finfished my Jumbo I took a short break (promissed!) from Shermies and slapped together a T-55 in polish markings!! Should've saved that for the campaign....

So...count me in with a Humber Scout. The Bronco 48. Got some Dragoons Decals with it. After that maybe a plane.....

Oh, to everyone:

The Tamiya Mig 15 in 1:48scale: is it buildable in polish markings without major conversion? It's called Lim-something in Poland, right? I'm sorry, don't know a lot about what I got me into, I must confess...

And where do i get markings for it if buildable?

Thanks for helping.

And thanks to Paul for all his encouragement and coments, here and back at ShermCamp. You are a great Camapaign leader!

Thanks to Jeremy for your artwork!! You got me into this, as your logos got my atention in Headquarters!!

See you soon!

Now the Polish Mig 15 is called the Lim-1. You should be Ok to just put Polish markings on that machine you have.

These guys have decals :

Still looking to see if anyone has a Mirage 7TP turret that they would sell or trade. I have the kit but no turret.

Well I am new here but I would be up for it. I know that I have been collecting all the parts for the Polish Panther G "Pudel" for awhile this is might be the kick start I need.

Wow, Paul, thanks so much. Those polish migs shure do look cool!

awesome link to cracow btw. I'll try to get hold of these decals.

Meanwhile:

Yipeeeeeeee! Gogogogogogo! Gentleman, start your engines!
....
Ahem...

I know, I get carried away when it comes to campaigns (been here since may and already joined five). But thats Bob Card's and Pauls fault

Well, 'till I get my plane sorted out, I'll join with a Humber SC of Bronco in markings for polish 10th Dragoons.

What means 'Pedziwiatr'?
Only foreign lingo I speak is Italian, and that half bad....

So, thanks again for this real awesome opportunity to get together.
And be shure to degrade us with your flash figure painting skills

Hey guys any progress ?

I've decided my first build will be a super easy Pegasus Hawker Hurricane 1 in 1/48 scale, 303 Battle of Britain markings

This will be my first foray into 'Wingy things' for many years, so the practice and weathering will be an adventure

I need to work out the Tamiya colors to use for the Camo and the sky blue underside though

Cheers

Paul, I appreciate the effort. I had been resigned to scratching this, but if I just had the turret I could scratch the rest.

Got out of the OR early yesterday and plunged into my build. Almost done with the basic hull labouring on the drivetrain and axles now. I'll get the pix ready and post them in a few Minutes.

'This will be my first foray into 'Wingy things' for many years, so the practice and weathering will be an adventure'

Don't sweat it Paul, you got a wingmaniac in your WhiteEagle platoon. So if I might, I'll chime in as you post and divulge what I'd do next...
uhoh...I hope this only sounded preposterous in my head

Ok here goes:

As you can see I encountered serious fit issues with the stow boxes. Well some coaxing and slicing of evergreen combined with a generous helping of liquid glue got me going.

One word of warning to all who attempt this kit: it's really mighty nice but the instrctions are chaotic to say the least. Keep a pen handy to wipe out everything you allready asembled.

More to to follow...

Forgot to mention: this is as far as you get in two days providing you toss away the whole motor assembly and do not care for a lot of crew compartment either. I want a nice clean build so almost no details within just some paint.
The kit provides a wonderfull motor and most that is needed for a busy office mind you!

Bob,

I think we're right. PM me your details, and I'll get the bits out to you....

Leo great work, FAST work... Keep the updates coming.

Other updates from the team are most welcome

I've added seat belts to the pilots seat on my Hurricane and primed the inside of the fuselage where the cockpit sits.

I hope to have the interior painted in XF71 tomorrow and the seat and instrument panel fitted

This Pegasus kit is a nice and easy build

Cheers Team,

Paul

Work really cuts into modeling time, retirement is looking better and better
