This is honestly one of the best kits I've ever seen. Easy assembly and great detail to boot. As far as I know this kit is very accurate as well. The guides for lining up the suspension arms and for laying down the indy tracks for the top runs are a couple of very useful items that I wish other manufacturers would implement in their kits.
As for the work table, it also lives life as my friend's drafting table so I can't mess it up too bad

Well, I've actually started on my TK-3.
Which will eventually be mated with my Ursus A truck I'm doing for the current soft-skin campaign:
I know, I'm a slow builder, with limited time.
But does anyone have a good paint color match for the Ursus truck?

The model is in the cathegory: "what else can be spoiled?"
The list of mistakes, errors and my own stupidity is sooooooo long... My only excuse is that this is my first plane for more than 10 years and my first so advanced WWI plane...
I HATE LOZENGE!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my hands on the 1/72 Heller / Smer Caudron Renault C.714 which was used by Polish pilots during the Battle for France. So I'd like to join in with it.

Ok, then I'll get started.
The Caudron Renault C714 Cyclone
This was a light fighter designed in the mid 1930s as an inexpensive easily produced fighter. It was based on a successful racing plane, but by all accounts it was a poor fighter by the time it started to enter service in 1940. It was largely made of wood with a 500 horse power inline engine. It weighed 4100 lbs (2/3 the weight of a Spitfire), with a top speed of 286 mph (about 60 mph slower than the Bf 109E) and four wing mounted 7.5mm machineguns.
Most Polish pilots were integrated into existing French fighter squadrons, but Groupe de Chasse polonaise I/145 "Warsaw Squadron" was set up as a Polish squadron with mostly Polish pilots. Due to a lack of better aircraft this squadron operated with the C.714 beginning in mid May 1940. The French Command grounded these planes shortly after delivery to the Squadron. With no aircraft to replace them, the squadron continued to fly the C.714 until the French surrender in June. Despite the poor performance of the plane the squadron managed to score 12 kills for the loss of 9 planes in the short period they were in combat.
Finland also received a small number of these planes during the Winter War, but they were found to be of little value, and most were transferred to non-flying training uses.
The kit is the old 1/72 Heller kit, reboxed by Smer. It includes markings for a French aircraft from the Warsaw Squadron Groupe de Chasse polonaise I/145 and for a Finnish aircraft.
