Hello fellow modellers
I dont know if this has been done before, and if it hasnt i dont know how to get one started, but a campaign using Tamiya models only would be great
I have plenty of Tamiya models and i love puting them together, i find them so much easyer and have less fiddly pieces (eaven tho they arnt as detailed)
anyone else got any thoughts on this
model on !

Hello there,
I'd be up for a Tamiya campaign, I tend to build their kits in the main, great idea.

Yikes! Another attempting campaign idea! I got several Tamiya kits in my stash just asking something like this to come.. Only negative thing is limited amount of hours in day. It depends on the timeframe for this, if I can enlist..

Dez,
The majority of the Kits that I build are Tamiya Kits, gotta love the instruction sheets they are nice and clear What would be the time frame, If the start date is for later part of next year I'll be in, I'm sure I have some WWII Armor in the stash

If it's 2. quarter 2011 or later I am interested. There should be a Tamiya kit or two under all that Trumpeter/Academy/Revell gear somewhere.

That works if it runs as long as at least 6 months

A June next year start would be perfect, I'm most definately up for this one.

I'm in for the campaign. Tons of Tamyia kits in my stash! Would this just be OOB or is aftermarket allowed? Either way I'm a go!

well this idea has gotten some good feedback ill try and set it up.
in regards to mikes reply i think aftermarket parts would be good as long as the main is tamiya. Im right into dioramas but single vehicle is good too
im open for suggestions if anyone has any
cheers

Dez: I like the thought of a Tamiya campaign. June 2011 sounds ok for the time being, how long would you plan on having the campaign last?
Another thought, we have a couple of people wanting to build Aircraft. Are you planning on having this as and all-encompassing campaign? Just curious. I would think that this campaign should focus on military kits, but let us know what you are thinking.

Dez,
Whats the story with this campaign is it a go. Seamed like there was enough interest to submit it and some more campaigns in the summer would be good not to much research need for this 1 either

I changed the campaign start date to 6/1/2011 and the end date to 12/31/2011.
Here's where to enlist.
Total Tamiya
I would suggest changing the minimum kit scale to be 1/700 as that is a common scale for ships.
