Stan it looks good to me. I advise you take along your current airbrush in order that you can get any attachments you need to mate everything up, I made the mistake of not doing that and it took me 2 weeks of chasing around plumbing centres to find the needed parts.

I have been watching this campaign from the start and it is good to see the hobby alive and well with the next generation of scale modelers. I was down at an IPMS show in Rochester Minnesota and was amazed at the number of younger modelers and the builds they had on display.
I remember building my first glue kit back in 1977 - a Blue Angels A-4 bought at an airshow at Dobbins AFB in Atlanta. You are all doing great jobs and should be proud of your works.

thanks for asking, but no i don't need any help. i am just waiting for the paints i ordered and then i will be finishing off, i will take some more photosof the tank today and post them later on. i am still considering whether to buy that aircompressor that i posted in the link. i found one in the modelzone in manchester but it didn't have a tank on top like the one in the link and i wondered does it need one? here is the link again http://www.kmsdirect.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=313

The difference between a compressor with and without an air tank is that the one without runs all of the time it is in use and the other builds up pressure and then stops only starting again to retain the tank pressure. If you use a braided hose on a compressor without an air tank the hose will actually work as a small air reservoir for your brush. If your were going to be spraying all day long then an air tank is a must as the motor will get very hot and possibly cause damage. For normal use I would say you do not need to bother about an air tank, but it is still preferable.

does an aircompressor without a tank still let you change the airpressure?

There is usually a dial for altering the pressure on the outlet valve.
I look forward to both of your updates.

Adam is back working on his build. He will have some updates soon. He got sidetracked reading the Percy Jackson adventures. Andrew has temporarily lost interest. I may go get him the Moebus Ironman to help him get back into the groove.

No problem Russ we all have days and weeks when we don't touch the plastic. They have until the end of June to get their builds done and I am not bothered if Andrew's build changes to a figure. I just want to see what the younger members and upcoming model makers can do.

No problems, Darren. Just lack of time for kids projects plus the neverending battle against the supremecy of PS3..
Plus of course there´s school and older sons soccer team and I´m desperately trying to finish two kits for local show on March 5th..
But updates will follow.

Sven you have done a good clean job of that as I know how mind numbing that stage of a build can be.
Kimmo, No problem I understand the conflict and appeal of other endeavours that our children follow, and my Daughter is now 17 and don't I know it.

You can make your own mix by heavily diluting paint with its specific thinner, this method can work the problem you have is when you get a finish you really like it will be next to impossible to replicate. That is where products by companies such as AK interactive come into their own by providing an effect that can be repeated time and again after some basic skills have been mastered. I would recommend that the DVDs by AK interactive should actually be the first purchase and then the products.
