Sven the whole purpose of this campaign is to help you get from start finish regardless of what you build or how you build it. the difficulty level you set for yourself with my job along with other members being here to help you get to the finish with a model you are happy with.

Great work Nick. Can I ask you to take a couple of pictures of it outside in natural light to improve the picture

Thanks Darren.
I have a small update.
The lower hull is on 99%,just waiting for the voyager pe to start the upper hull.
Dragon did overdo the job on the HVVS suspension which is way over complicated.
Some small fit issues, bit of filling,sanding...
But it looks very good.
sorry for the bad pics!
Cheers,Sven

Sven, beautiful work so far, well done ! Perjhaps you could try some artists chalks for your dust and mud, just scrape them down to powder and mix with some white glue for mud or lightly brush them on for dust. It's a good cheap option and easily available from craft stores.
Nick, congrats on another feature, great job on the Stuka mate !
Joshie has been tied up with starting school, tennis lessons, swimming lessons and general boy stuff, but there is some progress on the Mustang so I will post some pics soon.
Cheers, Josh and Damian

Andrew sat down and opened a box from the stash, and pumped this out in about four hours time. I had to remove the canopy to clean it up a little. He is debating what scheme to paint it. It is the MRC/Academy Cobra kit.
Adam is slowly working on his Stryker kit.

Well done so far Andrew that looks fairly cleanly assembled from what I can see.

i am very sorry that i have not posted anything in the past couple of weeks. i have taken a lot of photos, i promise that i will post them later this week, i have finished building and am just waiting for the paints to arrive, which won't be long. i will be trying to do the colour modulation technique that i have been recently finding out lots about, i bought the AFV modeller issue where mig jimenez tells you all the secrets of how to pull the perfect modulation off, so after reading that it sounds rather easy.

Hi all!
Progress has happened, sorry for missing updates and pics but this is, where we stand right now.
Me-163 Komet is ready:
..and here on local show yesterday:

But on the other hand, Salamander hasn´t gone forward at all. Time to get serious with junior..

Kimmo I really like the look of the Komet and it is very pleasing to see upcoming model builders already using things such as filler, PE, and what I believe in this case a spray brush, all things I never touched until I had left school.
Sven I am impressed with your work as you along with others have shown that there are up and coming people who have a good grasp of the skills needed to build a good model.

the voyager pe has arrived also my parents bought me AFV acrylic tehniques and Ak interactive washes.fading and oils dvd )
ok so i made a mistake while gluing the pe parts on upper hull and that effected the joint which has about 1mm space between joints so i have to fill that.
never mind the painted wheel, was trying something out.
Cheers,Sven

I take it aeroplanes are OK. My wee son Emmet is starting out with a Hobbyboss hurricane. He is only 4 1/2 so he can't use the computer yet, but a cocktail stick and some liquid cement and he is off and running. I wish the camera had worked he was really trying hard.
And pretty neat work too. I'll post his WIP so far.
One proud dad!
Must say the work here is v impressive, and puts my efforts to shame. The future of the hobby is in safe hands I'd say.
