it's the revell standard class one and it just doesn't seem to be spraying gas any more., i even bought a new gas canister for to see if it was just an empty one and had no luck, so then i stripped it to pieces, cleaned all the pieces, rebuilt it and nothing so i might be going into manchester in the next couple of weeks and hopefully get a new one. i have persuaded my mum to buy me one now which is good the new one i might be getting comes with a compressor aswell and is an expo tools gravity feed airbrush (i don't know the name).

Stan I don't know the price of that but I would suggest you check out http://www.airbrushes.com/ as their own line of airbrush has been tested and reviewed on Armorama and was found to be excellent for £40. I would go so far as to say I doubt there is anything better for the money.

You should also check that the breather hole in the paint pot cap is clear as that will stop the airbrush working if it is blocked.

getting around to post Mason's progression over the weekend....
He struggled with the location of the Verlinden turret parts as the black and white pics on the Verlinden instruction sheet aren't very clear.

Thank you for the pictures. I really was having a hard time reading some of the part numbers and the placement places.

Tell him this is normal! Sometimes the really big parts can be frustrating as well, especially when they are warped.

Here's Mason's work that he finished over the weekend and since last posting
A buddy of mine sent Mason a driver and a crew commander from some kit he had from years ago, so Mason modified (with direction from me of course) the driver to fit into the driver's seat

Great! Now I have guilt.....Darren, if Mason isn't working me over it's....
Here's where he stopped last night. He started the track detailing since he was getting adjusted to a cast on his right forearm following a baseball accident. Fortunately for him, he can move his fingers without problems and the fact that he's only in the cast for 3 weeks instead of the usual 6-8 weeks. I asked him to just take a few days off from it, but that's clearly not going to happen with him.

Today, Mason attached the hull top. Here he is working on filling the slight gaps and seams.

Sirs,
Is it best to glue to tools like the shovel to the top with the photo etched parts, paint the tank and come back to painting the tools? I'm stuck. My dad suggested to attach and then paint.

I always paint tools before adding them to the vehicle and after the vehicle is painted, mostly because my hands are not as steady as once they were. However different people do it different ways, do whatever works best for you.
