Very nice work guys! My 1/72 T-34 is feeling a little left behind, but I should be getting to it soon enough.

Some promising work here! I've decided to join on short notice. I have this old Stuart that I was never quite satisfied with. For one thing the OD is too dark, it has no weathering and the decals silvered... So, time for a new paint job. I will be using decalcomaniacs decals that I got for a review, just don't know which ones yet...

And after a first coat of fresh faded (? ) OD:
Cheers!

I haven't been very active for the last few years so this campaign gives me a good excuse to get back into it. I left this off in 2008:
It is the much maligned Italeri Tiger. I picked it up again and over the last few weeks I've been having fun trying out different things with it. I plan to finish it as a 502 Feb '43 Tiger. Here's where it is at now:

I had postponed this project for a year, and this campaign gave an oppurtunity to realize it. My project is a diaroma based on Jurrassic Park. It contains Airfix T-Rex and converted British S.A.S. Jeep, pink one. The subject is an immediate halt of the jeep in front of T-Rex.

I have switched my initial build for this campaign from Tamiya's M5A1 to their 37mm PAK 35/36. I added the sight and control wheels last night and the breech lever and barrel today. I added the handles and cleaning rods to the carriage legs today. The cleaning rods did not want to stay put for the glue. The gun assembly is not attached to the carriage yet, it is just on there for stability as glue dries. I will probably start painting tonight then do final assembly. Paint used will be Tamiya XF-63 German Grey.

Well, I've decided to join a campaign and, for the first time, there's actually a chance I might finish this one.
About 10 years ago I decided to tart up the ancient Tamiya Lee (then the only game in town) to represent a Lee operated by Canada in the UK in 1942-43.
I scratchbuilt all the late Lee/Grant stowage boxes, modified the kit turret to be more accurate & cast one for this project. I also scratchbuilt the mud chutes on the suspension which were a feature of Lees in UK service for a short while.
I think this one will be painted in the SCC2 Service Brown, which always makes a nice change on the contest table.
All I want to do is finish it & get 'er done.

How quickly enjoyment can turn to panic! I am trying to put tiny decals onto a 1/700 submarine for the Dry Docked campaign.

Thank goodness the Yushio-class submarine is done. I was going to finish a few more 1/700 subs but the difficulty of putting those tiny decals on convinced me otherwise.
Anyhow, I can now concentrate on my Tamiya 37mm PAK 35/36. I have added the gun platform and trails to the carriage. The cleaning rods separated from the trail leg so I'll have to glue them on again (and probably add the shovel). Then I get to paint everything then add the shield and wheels.

Gary, the PAK 35/36 is coming along nicely and a clean build also. As for the 1/700 subs how are you able to see the kit much less those decals. I think that I saw a kit box once and mistook it for a match box maybe you could employ some Lepre-chaun to do those eye boggling parts . Actually it is nice to see you able to enjoy a build for a change.
