Marcos, nice job on those braille scale kits. I could not see to hold any of the parts so kudos for your effort and keep up the good work I want to see some paint.

Hi, I just joined the campaign. I plan to finish a Tamiya Panther G early that I started building about two years ago. I'll have pics of where I'm restarting at posted up later. Hopefully I'll finally finish the panther.

Hay gang totally forgot I had signed up to this one . Any way I am going to finish this 1/72 scale M1A1. I am thinking i may strip and repaint the whole thing as I am not happy with the weathering.

Hello Scott, what happened to the photo? All that I see is a Photobucket ad for the next step in their service. Anyway glad to see you made it back and I will wait for some good photos of that M1A1.

Got some courage and threw on the camo tonight. I think it's good. Should go fast from here now that the spraying is over (in between 3 nights/week of Crazy Monkey sparring and watching the 2 year old that is ).

Greg, looking like the Tiger will see daylight. Have you noticed that glue and paint is at low levels at your LHS? I ran across this.

I started this about 18 years ago, The interior is painted with a custom mixed floquil color. I still have the bottle of paint and it is still good.
Finished assembly tonight, ready for a bath and then start painting.
I’m going to try some new techniques with this and see how she will turn out.

@Bob - I hope that isn't true. My LHS is 45 min away so I have about 3 Tamiya thins on hand right now. I'll definitely try to find a moment to swing by there to see what's left. HobbytownUSA has been selling off all their models in favor for RC and wargamer stuff, nothing else around my area but the internet.
@ John - 18 years! now that's a long build WIP

@ John: that is a very welcome addition to the campaign and I bet the little half track is purring at the thought that It will finally be finished.
@ Greg: I am in Pasadena and the only LHS worth its salt is Burbanks House of Hobbies. I do not drive so it is a far piece to go but when I get a ride I grab as much supplies as I can.

Hay gang! I have had a bit of a disaster! I had a bit of a tidy up and I have lost the tracks for one side of the Abrams . I do have a few other unfinished builds so I will enter something else for this one!

Hi Scott,
I've got left-overs from a couple of Revell M1A1s. I don't usually bother with the top track run if it's concealed so I'm hoping there may be enough spare for one side. I also tend to bend the straight runs around the drive wheels so I suspect I may have quite a lot of spare individual links if that helps. I'll have a dig around and take a photo so you can see exactly what's available (it might take a couple of days though). Who knows, digging the box out might even inspire me to finish off the second one for this campaign (it looks uncannily similar to yours at the moment).
Cheers
John

Bad news I'm afraid Scott, I dug out the Abrams box this morning but there was no spare track in there. I'll check my spares stashes and contact you if I find anything, but I'm not optimistic.
Really sorry to let you down mate!
Cheers,
John
