Haha, Paul, that really does look like dog sh..! Not the model of course. What's it based on? Tamiya or Academy?
It's the Tamiya dog.

Hey Guys and Gals,
Warren Inman has agreed to take over the campaign since I will not be able to give any time due to a hiccup nothing health wise. So see yall in a few months. I will watch from time to time so be on your best behavior.

Well I finally got a few moments to work on ole Sturer Emil. I decided to dirty him up . Added some mud to the hull and wheels. Need to finish up the tracks and then paint some small details and the interioir. Here are a few progress shots.
I know I screwed up the barrel decal. I put it too close to the muzzle.

Brian, your squaddies better break out the hose and clean that muddy beast before handing it back to the Motor Pool...
(Looking good!)
As for me, I'm on my second Getter Done model, the 234/1 8-wheeler companion to the Puma. I tried something new (for me) and broke out some White-Tac to mask up a hard-edged 3-tone camo scheme. Then, I broke out more White-Tac and re-masked to hide all the boo-boos! A whole packet later, I'm quite pleased with the effect. Decals are on and sealed with gloss, so now I'm ready to add some pin washes before matting down. The weathering will be light - there's a pic of one in this scheme in some town centre, glistening in the wet weather that I like. Besides, too much weathering might hide the hard edges...
It's amazing how the same three colours are so different to the Puma colours just by not having any over-spray between them.

Folks,
I am not sure if this will fit the definition of this Campaign but I have a Firefly that is nearly finished but needs paint and weathering along with some small details and a commander figure. I was building it for the Sherman Campaign but was unable to complete it.

@ Eric, I think it fits in with the rules fine, and as I am the Campaign boss now ...

Some awesome models going on here.
@Brian - looking good. Some pin washes around the bolts and such details would also add to the grime
@Tom - that tac worked very well. I'm ready to try that the next time I do a camo.
@ Squidgy - congrats on finishing! Very nice work
@ Eric - That Firefly is beautiful already
@ Warren - thanks for watching over the flock

You can always do more but you can only get one ribbon per campaign.

Yes Mark, as Gary said you can submit as many as you want but get just the one ribbon for this campaign. I have about 10 builds in the KotS campaign so multiples are fine.
Keep up the good work people. There is still a long way to go and lots of time to get more kits in the 'languishing' pile into the 'finished' cabinet.

Hi folks,
I had thought about signing up fopr the campaign when I saw it but as most of my stuff fits the bill , I though I'd just give it a miss. However, whilst looking for a 3 inch mortar I put in a safe place last night I unearthed this one. I don't know how many years ago I built it but it would benefit from a bit more work,, So if painting/finishing is OK I'll maybe have a go at bringing it into the 21st centuary?
What say you?
Al

Good luck with it!

Hi Stefan,
Mamories of a past life
.
Warren, thanks.
I'd like to do it as an abondoned vehicle in NWE, Can I get away with Dark Yellow or would they all have been camo'd up? Also I had a look around for the Windows, can't find them yet but they are sure to be stored in a safe place with means I'll probably never find them although I'll look again Saturday. Question is are they necessary?
I've started on re-painting the seats and given the outside a fresh coat of yellow to get rid of some of the 'green' from my failed attempt at weathering X amount of years ago.
Any good on line reference I could link into, same for unit markings.
Thanks
Al.

Hi folks,
OK made a start, repainted the Dark yellow that looked a bit 'green' from the original finish, started work on the seating, went through a number of boxes and came up with most of the parts, only two windows through for some odd reason. Made two half open new ones to replace the missing parts and added in the window supports left of the original build.

Haha, yes, I have some of those in the display case as well... Sold all in the stash though...
Remember the days when allied armor was almost non existent? It's good times we're living in!
Keep it up!
Cheers!

Hi Stefan,
Yes, I got rid of most of my older kits but kept a few German softskins and I think I have a Panzer somewhere I though I could re-use. Kept a good few German figuers as well that can also get re-cycles sometiime.
Exactly that, built in the days when British Armour had the Tamiya Churchill, Cromwell, Bren carrier and Damiler Sc and not much else except the Tamiya British Infantry set. Resin and conversions and pretty much else were an unknown quanity lol, lol.
Exciting times we live in.

Hi folks,
Well the re-paint is about done. Thinking about this one Italy might be a better setting. Any thoughts or suggestions?
The broken window seemed appropriate.

hi,
I know it's a little late in the game, but can i still join in?
Here's my B-1 Centauro. It's been sitting on the shelf for almost a year. Not sure what to do with her and lack motivation and some of the PE is a PITA.
Here's how i'd like her to look, some inspiration
I'm actually thinking of trying some chipping on 'er. What do ya think?

Hello All! I have decided to enter my M1126 Stryker into the campaign. It is a beautiful model and goes together nicely. Thanks for having me!
