Warren, is the paint petrified now? Maybe it is at a stage of hardness that you do not need to worry about scratching.

With all the coats of Future etc the Matilda has a think you could drop a big bomb on it and it would still survive...

@Warren - nice work. Lifetime guarantee on the paint, not the decals I
guess.
I found this $3 primer at Home Depot and so far I like it.

Greg, I have been using the same primer. I like it as well but the nozzle tends to get clogged up after a while, make sure to keep it clean

@ Sal & Greg: can you give me a review on that primer?
@ John: your cutting matt and build looks way too clean for me .
@ Jeremy: LIfe is an obsticle course to run and adapt to, but hey it can be fun while you do it.

I use that primer on my crab pot floats then spray with red the primer seems to stick good to the floats with out it the red by it self grows alge fast and the salt water eats it up. hope that helps. Ive used it once for a model figure. as for my matt I dont paint on it I use cardboard
@ jeremy after working 6 to 8hrs out on the water it gets harder and harder to goto the workbench and play. as my daughter calls it.

Aloha,
Small progress on the 250/3 Grief. Got the interior mostly beat up with some wear and tear. Next it is on to building the exterior.

here is some progress on my M60....it had been set to the side for about almost a year. I had to decide whether to finish this one for this campaign or the "under a different flag" campaign. But i decided this one. Ok so the plan is to have this old baby buried in the sand...with Iraq or Iran markings( whichever i find how to do first). You can kinda see the given layout.....

Zon - the HT interior is looking really good.
Johnathon - great idea to finish a model in HALF the time
Mark - spraying camo is always scary - I think yours has turned out fine!

Howdy all
got some more paint on the project I'm trying to finish for this build.. that I didn't finish for another build a while back..
Front view showing dividing line
top view showing my paint..
Close up view of the dividing line... I need to work on the curves a bit as its not all that sharp a line..
Paint went on very good though..
