Check out the Archer sight, they tend to provide reference photos for their transfer sets: http://www.archertransfers.com/AR35172pix.html

And if you follow this link, it looks like their was an article in Military Modelling Magazine Oct 1995 by Phil Dyer on the #6121 kit. Not sure if this is what you are looking for.
*edit:
It appears that John Ham built Carole in 1/72 in an article that was featured in Tankette issue 44/6

Hi Jeremy,
I have the photos from archer, but there was also an article in "Military Modelling" in 2005 about "Carole" and her crew, there were more photographs. My problem is that i have about 10 years of model magazines of all sorts located all over the house. I found out today the actual issue number of the magazine, but it was the only one i could not get picture of the front cover!!!
I'm just going to have to do a bit of digging in the loft.
Thanks for help anyway.
Bob, My biggest problem is that i find things easier to start than to finish. Apparently it's a modellers disease.
I started this 5 years ago, then it went back in the box partially built, brought it out over christmas to try and get some thing finished for my local IPMS club
Get this finished over the weekend hopefully.
Thanks for your help guys, good luck with the builds
Dean

Sal: Blame google
Dean: That article has been a bugger trying to try and dig up. I even tried searching the Military Modelling website to no avail...
Anywho, nice looking UC, It's almost to finished to be considered partially complete

Dean, welcome and I would like to see that project finished. I would like to have a real Universal Carrier.
Did a little work on my M3.
1. attached the Drive sprocket.
2. scratched the peice next to the MG on the front part of the hull.
3. scratched the recepticle for thr radio mast.
4. attached the air cleaners.
5. drilled holes in the front of all gun barrels.
6. attached the kit supplied shovel, scrounged axe, pick, handle, and, sledge hammer.
7. the scratched fuel tanks had been installed in the past.
Next a bath then some paint.

Aloha All,
I've enlisted and after going through all my half-builts, I decided to bring this one out in the hope of dove-tailing with the 222 I plan on building for the Desert Fox campaign into a scene of the two vehicles.
Happy Modelling! -zon

Hello Zon,
Welcome aboard. I am not sure that I understand your mention of dove tailing. Your entry into this campaign cannot be used for any other at this point. If I am wrong guys let me know (dove tailing?)

I think he means he is going to use the 250/3 he is finishing in this campaign in a diorama with a 222 he will be building for the Desert Fox campaign.

Yes, Gary and Jeremy are correct. One model for each campaign, then combine them for a small diorama. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks, -zon

With the amount of campaigns going on, I'm going to have to combine separate builds from multiple campaigns myself so I was already thinking along this wavelength

I did not think you could build one aircraft, or vehicle, or ship, for multiple campaigns.. I could save heaps of time if you could..

You mean we're actually supposed to finish these things? I thought the goal was to see who had the most started before we die...

It's OK as long as you build a kit specifically for each campaign. I would have no problem if you built a 1/72 bowser for Braille Battlefield and used it for a diorama with a Hurricane you built for Aeroscale's Sidney Camm campaign.

Just signed up, second post on the forum..lol
My enry will be a Tamiya 1/35th Panzer IV Ausf.D that well got started 6+ years ago and has finally got the dust blown off the box:
Gonna go for a Afrika corps version but before the tan was applied (or if that's unrealistic, one that was returned to a place where panzer grey was needed ..lol)

Hello Dave,
Nice looking (6) year old start, I just finished the same kit. How do you find the construction, is it easy or fiddelly?

hey Bob!
Honestly it has been a bit of both for me, a lot went together rather well but some pieces have caused some gray hairs! For example the smoke launchers broke off when i opened the box but for the life of me i have no clue where they went!
The antenna holder location was wrong at least according to a ref photo i saw..so thats misplaced,,lol I have also lost some key parts which thankfully a awesome member of FSM is sending me replacements (are we allowed to mention other forums here?)
Oh and the one thats been giving me the largest headache:
the exhaust pipe on the left side of the rear plate can not be there if i put the hull on with the jerry can rack..lol so i have to attach it after but my god thats annoying!
In the end tho its a Tamiya so its easy and relaxing, and well detailed. I look forward to finally finishing her up!

Dave, as for the missing parts the floor/carpet monster has thme . It seems that you had much more trouble with the kit than I. My problem came when I did not want to pull out the airbrush and just brush painted the vehicle, much to my chigrin I should have used the airbrush it would have taken less time. Glad to have you aboard and references are always a good thing.

Bob i hear ya there, my floor could build it's own kit!
I hear ya on brush painting, except my reason is i really don't have a good one..I have a compressor and a plastic testors one but its not a real AB..lol.
Speaking of reference I was on wiki and yes i know that its not 100% trustful but there is a pic of a Ausf.D at the Aberdeen testing grounds and its mantle/main gun and brace are completely different.
The one depicted in the model seems to be from a Ausf.E shown here:
Funny huh?

Some of the vehicles at Aberdeen are also a bit suspect. It looks to me as if the D turret has been fitted with a mantlet from a G (or later). It could be that some enemy equipment was cobbled together from parts and shipped back to the US. Or possibly it was damaged after it got to the US and was repaired with whatever was around.
