Thanks Bob, and that's what I'm afraid of and precisely why I keep this little guy out on the workbench so he doesn't feel neglected
Looks like we all have cool projects that deserve finishing

Hey Bob,
If we rule out unstarted kits and those under "active" construction (despite how inactive that can be), then my part-baked list looks like this:
Puma
234/1
M47
M10 Achilles
M36B1
FAI-M
M31 conversion
Cromwell ARV conversion
Not as bad as I thought, now that I look at it...

Bob,
Right, before I clog up the campaign gallery, do you want all three pics (before, during, after) uploaded to it? Or just the "after"? (My "befores" are currently in photobucket, but can be uploaded to the gallery if required...)

Hi Bob,
I have this Opel 4x2 truck that I started before my ankle surgery back in May
It sat on my workbench down in the basement cause I could get down the stairs and now that I can get down there I have been busy with all the other campaigns, so this guy still needs to be finished. Also have a few other projects that need total overhauls like the Stug IV did after I completed the Workhorse Campaign.

Well, it's 1 January here, and I've had a busy morning in the spray booth! I added a quick 3-tone camo to the Puma followed by a gloss coat ready for decals. Now all I need to do is find where I put all those wheels...
Happy New Year!

Tom: nice paint job and if you are unable to find those wheels I may have some that will fit. There is an Italeri PUMA Sd. Kfz. 234/2 in my stash that will never be built since there are missing and broken axles ( the really small / fine peices). You can have them to finish your build.

This is what I came up with.
Gary could you send the ribbon to me so that I can install it on the campaign page?

Bob,
Many thanks for the offer, but I know where the wheels are - I just need a steam shovel to dig them out of the heap that I call a stash!

You should be able to right-click on the ribbon image in this thread to download it to your PC.
Forgot to upload a picture of my kit as it stands now.
I need to go over a lot of the Metallic Gray parts as the paint I used didn't cover very well (I guess this is a "Feature" when hand painting Tamiya acrylic paints). And you can see all the putty on the AFV Club track blocks to fill in the slight depression in the middle of the block.

Here’s my Get R done
Tamiya SDKFZ 251/9 Ausf D
I got this far about 18 years ago and put it back in the box. I decided to get r done and use it as a test for some new painting techniques I’ve been reading about. Then down the road, use it as a secondary vehicle in a diorama.
Does any one know of any good reference photos of camouflage markings for a vehicle some were between Normandy and Berlin?

@ Gary: OUCH! those indie tracks give me pains in my thumbs and fingers just glad it is you and not me assembling them. As for the ribbon I will give what you suggested a try.
@ John: I think that you have the longest sitting shelved project so far, I will need to let someone knowledgeable to answer your question. Glad to have you on board.

OK so I spent New Years day cleaning up and doing inventory, here is the list :
Pz.Kpfw III L Tamiya, Pz II Flamm Alan, T-34/76 '41 Dragon, KV-2 Trumpeter, M113 ACAV Acadamy/Tamiya kitbash, Hetzer Dragon, German Field kitchen Tamiya, Tiger I mid Tamiya, LeFH 18M AVF club, Ferdinand 1/72 Dragon, SdKfz 222 Tamiya w/scratch built interior.
I now need to pick one to start with, or restart that is. I think the T-34 and the Pz III. The Pz III needs stripped of paint and then repainted. The T-34 is about 60% built and needs some serious dusting. I will wait and post pics when I am sure, don't want to post a ton of pics and never get going.

Can I add this unfinished dio that's been sitting around since I joined Armorama I believe? They have some base paint on but still a lot of painting to do (camo on tiger tools/tires su122) and groundwork and a few crew and infantry figures (in boxes still from Evolution and Gasoline). I would like a reason to 'getter done.'
Here's from my armorama photo dated 11/2008:
....and here's the current state 1/2011:
Tortoise and the hare?

Glad to have you with us Greg, so how long has the dio been just sitting there waiting for its day to go out into the sunlight?

I did originally start it for the What if? campaign, but took on too much with another campaign at the same time and so didn't finish by the deadline. It has sat untouched for the past 6 months. This seems like a good excuse to finish it.
A hypothetical Australian Cruiser tank Mk V. Fitted with American E8 Sherman suspension and a 3.7 inch anti-aircraft gun.
Just needs all the little fiddly bits put on and a paint job.
