Remco................ No need to worry, just brain-storming plenty of time yet! your T34 sounds like it will be the business, looking forward to seeing it come together, when we do eventually start!
I just put up the odd image (as to others) to get people's imagination / ideas going such as...
Then after a bit of a discussion some people change their mind and decide to build another KO'd vehicle, which is fine, nobody's keeping a list!
Another Muddy one....

Phew,
I was starting to worry for noting...
All kidding aside, I bought recently the book of The battle for Kharkov from Jean Restayn.
It has a nice pic of a Russian used valentine tank ko in the snow.
Also a Panzer 4 G with its side blown off...
Regards,
Remco

Remco... I have an 'After the Battle' the 3 Battles for Kharkov but I doesn't show many KO tanks, mostly some T34 abandoned outside a repair shop but some great Combat images taken by the German 'Signal' Photographers.
Speaking of books my kids got me 2x PanzerWrecks the other day (didn't know they had a Credit card) ... I got No 11 & 12 in the Normandy copy (11) there are some fine shots of some Puma's..... which got me 'JellyFishing' might build one of those? anybody build the Dragon version?
Some more Puma's of the web.....
and a sdkfz/sd234 ...

Duncan, those Puma's and 234 look rough just by having their toolbox doors open. The crazy geometric shapes really make the vehicle look amiss when they're open. The actual damage (and reason to open the toolboxes) is a bonus.
That sherman had to have been a practice target. I can't imagine it took that many hits to knock it out!
Cool photos, everyone! Keep 'em coming!
thanks,
Sean.

Klinker,
Any idea what that lettering is on the dumped-over American halftrack? Do you have stories on these photos?
The middle one makes me think of some guy saying to his wife, "Honey, I can't get the car out of the garage." "Yeah, someone left a tank in front of it."
cheers!

I can't make out all the lettering but what I can see comes out as "Unit occupying".

@ windysean- Sean sorry. That was my tank. I was driving and had a flat track . I jumped out my hatch to change the flat trak by a good one but the wind blow the hatch closed. My Remote Keyless Entry System locking the hatch on impact with my keys inside... . I tried to smash the hatch with a brick but it bounced back to my head and damaged your raingutter as you can see on the photo (no worry, i wil contact my insurrance). If you lend me a cutting torch i can get in and move it away from your garage
@ Klinker- Duncan, I think what photos you talk about. I got these also in my operation citadel books.
I love the 234 puma! I git the dragon kit an two voyager pe sets. Looking out for your build!

Some new K.O. tanks for you....
A Panther with a strange exhaust set up? might have to ask on the Panther Campaign or Axis forum whats going on here? I know the outer pipes are not exhaust but strange, plus look a the state of the welding on the left-hand side late war rush of field fix?
A JagdPanther and M36 Jackson K.O together on the Battlefield.....
A King Tiger with a strange exhaust set up too = 'Nachtjäger'?

Hi Stan your tank in a swampy boggy place does qualify ....
from the first page of this thread ....
''Knocked out' is not a track off but so badly damaged that it would take more than a day to fix or never! Shell/Fire/Mine damage even the elements Ice/Rivers/Mud!
A few people on the Campaign are doing bogged vehicles, there's a few links about mud techniques on here too!
Hope you join us Stan.
Regards Duncan.

OK guys heres a update on my campaign so far ,,, poop!! .. ok this is how it goes .. wanted to do a dead panther ...not going to happen ..to damn hard to get a panther engine bay set here ..so changed my mind and thought a tiger ..knackered bigtime then remembered i need that for the duel campaign i'm doing ..so now the hunt is on for something else to munt ..thinking panzer IV but the engine bay is just as hard to get as the panthers ... i'll figure out something ,,,bugger it
Oh Duncan ..those strange tubes on the panthers exhaust are anti flash tubes ..used to try and hide the exhaust fumes and sparks ,,i think they are to help keep the smoke down to but not sure on that one

Try ebay Phil, I use it all the time! it's a lot cheaper than the Hobby shops here you just have to wait a bit, I'm getting an engine etc, for my KT from there! just check-out their feedback first.
Or....
Try the Trumpeter Pz IV variants:- 00389 German Bergepanzer IV / 01520 3.7cm Flak 43 Flakpanzer IV ...these come with engines etc... you could get another PzIV (with a turret etc) and transplant those bits in or just build as is!
I think a few more Trumpeter PzIV's come with interiors and engines etc... someone will probably suggest more.

Duncan mate i've had some luck today lol ..long time ago i brought this Academy full interior version Tiger from a guy on Trademe ..its a pile of bits and he tryed to make it a destroyed Tiger ,,very badly .. waste of a pretty good kits for starters .. but he brought what it turns out is a AM engine for it ,,resin motor which was slightly stripped ,,so now using the Dragon Tiger and the parts of the Academy kit i'll have a full engine bay and turret details to play with ..strange i looked in that box today but bloody glad i did oh the reason i now have the Tiger to play with is that the Duel campaign i am in has changed .. i'll be doing a T34/85 V's a M26 ,,sweet

Stan...... I just 'Google' stuff ! but you have to phrase it right? for example if you pump-in 'Knocked out Tiger image' you get loads of Tiger Woods and his many girlfriends !? = But if you pump in 'Knocked out Ausf (or) Tiger1 (or) Jagd' etc...you get much better results! plus keep scrolling down as there a some real gems to be found.
Phill.... I be interested in the Academy Tiger1 with the interior, not seen one yet... speaking of Tigers heres one for you......
'For Discussion purposes only'
As my own Campaign has just started I going to be a bit busy actually doing some model-making (plus I need to finish my IDF Panther ('What if') so I'll leave you all in peace for a bit, but how about this link to some 'Knocked-Out' Panthers
All the best
Regards Duncan.

Duncan ,,, I hadn't seen that Tiger untill now and i'm glad i have ,,cheers for that mate ,,that pic has giving me some good ideas Its simple but affective at the same time ..i like that ,,i'm wondering if i should bother going with AM tracks ..the tracks that come with these two kits would do the job considering theres not going to be much track to see anyway ,,still i will think it over
