Hi Guys,
I am new to the site, I see a lot of good work going on here.
I have joined the Panther Campaign
And will build one of these, I am leaning towards the Dragon kit OOB as I have not built much in some 20 years.
Cheers Rob.

Quoted TextHere is the assmbled panther. Now its masking and camo painting.
tomorow maybe.
Thanks for watching.
Phil
Oh, that is sick looking!! I must get me one of these just from watching your build.
So, what's the painting plan? Looks good enough in a solid color.
~ Jeff
Hi Jeff, Thanks
The plan looks like this:
But as Gary mentioned I'm waiting for a new air brush and the thing is that i'm not sure i can acheive a good camo with my old Badger...So I'm going to prep it good protect it from the dust and if I'm able to wait and not be a big child over this(because i want to see it camo NOW!) I'll use my new ab.
We will see.

Rob...welcome to the campaign.Remember have fun
Phil...I know it's tuff to wait, but you have put so much work into this build, it would be to bad to take a chance with "old faithfull" before you even get your new AB and see what that can do.
O.K.,now that we have the backpack thing squared away,it's time for "Fun with Foil"
Made some tools to hang on the JP.Pry bar is made from stretched spru.Shovel, handle is spru, head is foil.Sledge hammer, handle is spru, head is the very end of a 1/35 Panther torsion bar.
And now a preview of coming attractions.
Before...
And after...
I'm almost finished with this build.A few more improvments to the JP, then the dio base that came with the kit,and I'll be finished.Jeff T.

I hope to post some pics during this week.
I rusted the exausts, added some dirt to the lower hull with AK earth effects, added the wheels too, painted the IR sights & MGun.
Tracks will be painted with VJ Track Primer & MIG track brown.
Camera ran out of battery...no pics.
Nice work on that JagdPanther Jeff !!

Phil...It's Revell #03232.I got mine from Scalehobbyist.com. it was 5.99.I just checked Spruebrothers, and they have them for4.99.Both where on sale, don't know what the shipping would run.Maybe some one up there in the Great White North would have them?
Do you remember earlier in the thread when I was looking for spare track links? The kit was so cheap, that I purchased another one and cut some links off one of the tracks to use on My JP build.
So what do I do with the second kit,you ask,as it now has one short track Build a "broken down" JP with a thrown track. I love it when a plan comes together :-)-- Jeff T.

Thanks guys again ,
Gary those were sent by Michael, another plasticohlic like us from Virginia, I kindly sent me this Dragon extra set he had on his spare box, also mailed me the instruction sheet.
I think it was a set from a Panther kit.
All clear parts, very detailed set. I was thinking of getting the AFV set at the time, but I'm very happy with this set.
I did the wiring according to a sketch that Michael send on how & where to wire it.

Wow Wonderful Builds everyone, Im still having armor Phobia, after all the Warpage I am finding in my Tamiya A kit. I did have a small victory I think i managed to straightin out the warped barrell and Rear Plate. I am trying to figure out what zim pattern the A's Used in Italy. Pics to come, Maybe I should just do the tracks to take my mind away from the kit.

Jeff
It is the old tamiya Panther A.It might just be me not know ing Armor and how to approach them, plus too cant get areply to my Zimmerit Question I have been asking on the forum and searching for the last 3 weeks. Which is surprising for this site. I think it is because I wan to do a good Armor kit from the start.I know well all started at the bottom, But I just wan to make as close to accurate representaion. If you know what i mean.
