Phil...it's a crushable metal sleeve used to hold the ends of the cable together after the loop has been made.Like this I know they are yellow, but you get the idea.Is that what you meant?Jeff T.

I already knew what it was, I meant: what did you use for it?
Is it a small crushable sleave? that size..
Sorry, lost in translation there

Phil, sorry about that, with the time change I was a little tired It's the old"wlne bottle cork foil trick"again.I cut the foil to size, rolled it around a drill bit of the right size, and superglued the loop in one end and the cable in the other.I am finding a lot of uses for the foil on this build,as you will see in future posts.I just hope that it does not lead to increased wine drinking just to get the foil. But a guy has to do what a guy has to do Jeff T.

I tried something different for this Panther G.
It was still fighting at the end of the war, the new crew just painted a new scheme over the old paint scheme.

Over the Dark Yellow base (with different shades with several different filters applied) I first painted the camo with RLM 82 for the faded green and a Tamyia Nato Brown for the faded brown scheme, then applied a RLM 70 Black green and Flat Brown for the new tones of the camo scheme.

John...That is truley a great camo job. It's different and I like it.The second set of photos are much better.I have found that resting the camera on something or useing a tripod helped me the most.
I use a very "high tech" block of wood to rest my camera on If you have good inside lighting you can cancel your flash also.
Phil...Did you get my reply about the cable? Have you figured out what's making your pics look green? Model on Gents Jeff T.

Thanks guys !!
Phil it was done with a brush, still have to save some cash for a good AB & Compressor.

Jeff, I still have to workout the best settings for daylight or evening/night.

After this I will work no painting the details and add some filters to blend the camo a little.
I'm still not sure about the gun camo.
Also what colours should I use for the IR sights ?

John... One thing that I did notice was your tailpipes.Every think else looks so good, you should drill them out.

Here's my latest update.I couldn't find any 1/76 stowage for my JP,so I made a back pack. After looking on the net to see what a German back pack looked like,I forged ahead.Formed the pack out of 2 part epoxy.
Then made some straps out of wine bottle cork foil(and no,I didn't have to drink the wine,I had the foil "in stock"
Added some closing straps and buckles, painted it up and there you go,one back pack
Then of course I had to make a hanger out of scrap PE
And finally, this is where it will reside.I know it's not the finished pack, it was a test fit to make sure we where good
Model on,Jeff T.

Oh, that is sick looking!! I must get me one of these just from watching your build.

So, what's the painting plan? Looks good enough in a solid color.
