Thanks matt, the scary part about the size difference is that the M-ATV and RSOV carry the same amount of men and the RSOV appears to have more space for ammo so it goes to show you that bigger isn't always better.

Hi Huypham!
Since we're building the same thing this is what mine will look like soon? Looks good and your pictures will be much better than mine. Very nice start to a clean build!

Just received my "extra" parts and two, need to to match the exhaust somehow:

I'll try to catch up!

Looking very nice Alex. Not sure if you've built one of those HB Landrovers before but care needs to be taken to get the engine block, chassis, the two sides and the rear wall of the engine compartment perfectly alligned. Dry fit the whole thing first with the hood also before you start glueing. Other than that the HB Landrovers are a work of art! That M-ATV looks good too.

Huyphan: nice work on the Guardian!

Looks good!

Aren't you going to install the etched parts for the rim discs?

I'm sorry buddy ... I meant the parts A-36. They are not etched. They are those parts wrapped by the white padding on the sprue A. They go on the outside of the rim as outlined in step 1, page 3. Anyway, it sure looks different like this!

Seeing yours makes me want to spend the rest of the day on mine but I'm having a hard time finding time.

Thanks for the inspiring pictures!

Hi,

@Huypham It looks very good, but it's not a race or is it?
@Kerry I think you made a good choice T-55 in general are great and what would an Afghan Campaign be without one of these colorful Taleban tanks. It's a bit strange that normally art and these things are not highly regarded in the Taleban Ideology but when it's time to camouflage a tank they are so progressive almost second to none maybe India. So now we cover the soviet intervention, the taleban war and the nato intervention in afghanistan. Very fine.

Now a few progress pcitures of my BMP-2

The rear of the tank. I lost one of the optics but maybe i can save one from the turret.

The lower and upper hull fit very badly but i knew that before will not be a problem

Jimmy, the communication set is included in the Kinetic kit. The panda kit does not have anything as far as communication equipment goes.

Oh man! That is simply beautiful there Huypham! All questions of mine have been answered!

You certainly have set the bar very, very high and I like the subtle weathering. I need to go a little further with mine then so they don't look the same. Just kidding, yours will blow mine away for it's just awesome looking!

Today I received my figures and only one had the pour block on top of the head so I just have half the work to worry about. So I think I'll keep these to use.

Huypham: I've been trying to decide how to cover the fact that the m1117 has no interior. Your's looks spectacular! I'll be using this method for the upcoming AFV/APC campaign.

Huypham, your M1117 looks very great ! I believe the rear antennas with a ring on the top are green, not black.

Huypham- looking good.
The RSOV is on its last dry-fit and ready for paint, laid out in front of it I have the stowage, ammo boxes and weapons that will be added to the vehicle.

For a small truck, that's alot of ammo. Theres 128 40mm rounds, 800 .50 cal rounds which I would assume since there is no .50 cal mounted that they're loaded with 7.62 rounds for the 240 up front and 2000 7.62 rounds in the proper ammo cans . Which would be a grand total of 2928 rounds of ammo for one truck. Thats some heavy duty firepower

Youngun: There is no such thing as too much ammo.
