John, I may need an extension depending on when my paint arrives in the mail;
otherwise, all assembly is complete on my Leopard 1A4.

I have been browsing the pictures posted here obtaining some inspiration from all. All great models included here. I need to add some progress shots of my jagdpanther to this fine collection. I added the base colour, camo and just started on the detailing. Some of the tracks fell off need to reattach them. Some camouflage hoops were attached.

John,
I may need an extra week or two. I'm using the Model Master enamels and I've been advised that Forest Green FS4127 is close for the Leopard 1A4 solid green scheme. This is what I've ordered. However I was painting a French MS406 for another campaign and the #2106 French Khaki looks to be a close faded version of the color. I may go with that instead. I'll airbrush tonight and post the result. This is a braille scale tank after all and it is also the first tank kit in this scale that I've built since returning to the hobby.

I have painted the tracks black and the rubber on the road wheels, finished up the rear hull and will be shooting the base colour soon.
Cheers Rob.

More progress. Two coats of camouflage were hand painted onto the Panther. The diluted paints helped to eliminate brush marks. Tamiya acrylics were used, Red Brown and Olive Green. After the camouflage had dried a coat of diluted Buff was sprayed over the Tank. The diluted Buff acted as a filter, softening the hard edges and brightness of the camouflage. These are the progress photos.
