Erhan, the track is breaking apart..
Posted: Wednesday, July 10, 2013 - 11:25 AM UTC
Hey everyone,
I got some more work done on my Panther.
I glued the upper hull on and finished up all the little bits left then masked the running gear and got a coat of base color on.
Cheers Rob.

OK guys, I'm calling this one done. It's too bad I can't get the best picture to upload. Arrrgh!
It's been a fun campaign, and I've enjoyed seeing everyone else's work.

Quoted TextQuoted TextI build still one Panther Ausf.G w/Rheinmetall Schmal-turm.
I used one old model from Tamiya and turret from my produce.
Where can I get one of those at?
NICE turret!
~ Jeff
Jeff
send my your address to PM, I send you one as sample free.
Miloslav
Well, thanks for the offer but the turret never arrived.
I WAS wanting to add it to my Trumpeter E-50 for the Paper Panzers Campaign but I guess it's the boring stock turret.

Too bad that was a cool turret.. did you know if it was lost during the trip or if it was sent ?
I only add a metalgun barrel to the E-50, RB had 2 different metal barrels.
Trying a SturmTiger gun to that turret would look cool too.
Or a 4 barrel MiniGun from Live Resin..

@Rob
Nice Zimm ! Almost done !
@Erhan
Don't forget to post a photo on the Gallery
@Guy
That JagdPanther is perfect !
Tracks are awsome, the tones on the equipment, weathering on the lower hull & wheels looks realistic.
Also like the crew checking for Allied aircraft.
Adding some foliage or net camo would be realistic but we would miss the terrific camo

I don't know what happened John. At first I wanted to purchase one from him, but he insisted on sending it as a gift. I even offered to pay for the shipping and he said no.
No more contact and nothing in the mail either.
Kinda frightening if I had purchased it, huh. I could alter the E50 turret but I ran out of time so maybe on another like project as if you cannot tell by my username, I kinda like Panther tanks.

Thanks John, I may add some foliage, not a lot, but enough to add some interest. Thanks for the idea.

That's strange, did you try to PM just to know if he ever sent something ? might got lost across the ocean..
@Irvin
Nice one ! looks like a squashed Panther..
@Anthony
Thanks !! I'm glad everyone's enjoying it.
I'm guessing a BigCats III would be welcomed ...

Great work everyone!
I finished this a couple months ago some of you may rememne... but only just recently did I got around to taking pictures with a real camera and uploading photos to the campaign gallery.
Here are some higher res photos of my Hobbyboss 1/72 F4F Wildcat.
Also, someone has been questioning whether it really qualifies as a big cat but has enjoyed watching my progress nonetheless.

John,
fun campaign, thanks for hosting it!
Irvin, love the way yours turned out. great job on the paint and weathering.
Van, I really like the fading and weathering on your Wildcat. The few planes I ever built always looked like plastic toys. For some reason I never figured out weathering on aircraft.

Thanks guys !
That means a lot to see that everyone enjoyed this Campaign !
I think there's such a variety of subjects & scales available to turn Mk.III into another 8 months of pure fun !!
As soon as the awards will be sent I'll start another proposal .
Thanks again guys, without your enthusiasm and your builds this would not be possible !!

Here is my JagdPanther complete as it is. Have to do some final touches to it. Got caught up in a few other campaigns thus got way laid. I added some foliage loops, weld seams, metal barrel, vent screens. A.J. Press was a great resource highly recommend their books. I was thinking of including a tarp for the top, still undecided. The models that I have seen are done beautifully, a great inspiration.
