Alex I think your idea with the Krad is cool . It should look great when done.
You could also have done this for the full circle:
a captured Krad in soviet hands towing back a re-captured Aerosan from the Germans (it's just a thought)
Whatever it'll look cool when finished

Paul,
I'm going to keep it as simple as I can. I'm going to stick with the dispatch rider role as it'll show it being used by the Germans.

Jessie, PM sent; I'd give it a shot.

Hi Mike,
yes they are expensive but they're good. I have had three sets
from them, up till now with no complaints at all

Hi Jessica,
looking good, the primer looks incredibly smooth, what make is it?
Is it a gloss primer or was it just wet as you took the photo?

It's Badger Modelflex. It's fairly glossy but yes, it was still pretty damp when I took those

Hi all. I see we are making some nice progress here.
Jessie nice build, looking forward for the camo. The only thing that worries me, is that, maybe the primer is too glossy and paint will not get stuck.
Paul dont lie to me. As soon as you opened that box you had dark thoughts about it. Yet i see you did a splendid job! Is the recon flag going to be homemade or AM?
Well i finally got to work on the T 28. Everything is primered and ready to get painted. And Paul you will be able to see some things in the interior, worked a little on the hatches so that they can be placed open or closed and our voyeur friends can see the engine and stuff.

Dark thoughts as in "the dark side of the the force" which eventually lost . The flag is going to be "home brew", there's nothing better than that.
Looking good there John, and believe me you will appreciate it more if you can see some of the inside

Worry not. Now that it's fully cured it's gone to a nice eggshell finish which the colour coat should stick to without difficulty. I'll be using Xtracolour for the camouflage.

Hi there,
another update:
Washes with a mix of Tamiya paints and a lot of alcohol, and I don't mean beer . After that came some oil paint streaks.
Then just ten minutes ago a coat of Testors "Dullcote Lacquer". This is the first time I have used this stuff and I must say it's good The only thing I don't like is the strange smell it has
next up will be some more scratches, on vehicle tools that I took from the Tamiya Panzer IV OVM kit, some jerry cans, the figure from Tristar "German tropical tank crew", and the air recognition flag.
Should soon be done then

The Aerosan is coming together. I added a few German tools, a Bosch headlight, MG34, fire extinguisher, tow brackets (front)and German markings. I still need to touch it up, weather it, and paint the suspension springs.
The basic diorama layout. Simple and straight-forward.

Whilst looking through my decals sheets I found a simple set for an Polikarpov I-16 in IJAAF markings so I thought why the hell not? So here's a pic of the kit and decals. Yes the Academy kit is simple and a tad basic but should look the real deal with the Japanese meatballs!
