Hey Guys thanks for the suggestions but I read the directions that came with the kit which said to use liquid epoxy so I picked some up and here is the results
This is a shake and bake Dragon kit that reminds me of a Tamiya kit
But I really need to get rid of this nasty seam that Im sure wasn't on the real thing

That's an armor join. It should have welding marks.

Hi team
Sal that is an interlocking joint just add some weld beads
well here's my entry
I love the dragon Pz 4's,but there are so many spares and sprues, and I wish Dragon would include DS tracks as well as magic tracks
/>
Two tins of air gun pellets to stop it moving while fitting the tracks
the side skirts are lovely thin aluminium ,so easy to bend and scratch for battle damage but crap for the mounts to glue to
I found some old crap T34 vinyl tracks in the loft and used the spares from the kit
a blast of primer and a ton of bits
Lob some paint on soon
Andy

Thanks Andy and John,
well I managed to screw up the suspension, I attached the shocks to the wrong holes and cursed them for not
fitting , and then after I shortened the pistons I realised they were in the wrong places .
Well live and learn I guess, hereīs where I am now, Iīm not doing the engine becuase I think itīs a waste really. You canīt see through the decking and itīs not realy made to be shown open. Shame I would of prefered a complete turret
like in the VK4502
Iīll get some more done tomorrow, thanks to the bank holiday here I am now in the weekend

Todays update:
the rest of the upper hull is completed, the turret is put together and the beautifull gun barrel from RB, enjoy:
I read that the side armour isnīt quite correct so I filled
in the horrible spaces:
Well after my c0%kup with the suspension the rest seems to be flying together, apart from some small fitting problems with some hull and turret parts.
Thatīs it for today,
Paul

Andy , your Panzer IV looks really cool! Very nice work. Any thoughts on the camo scheme?
Paul, never mind the mishaps, press on..... . It's not the first mishap and certainly not the last. What matters is the final result. Your Super Pershing looks really good. What's your opinion on the kit?

Cheers Sal, I was wondering what you have been up to lately . Good luck with the exams youīll do ok.
Hi John (jkbsprint), the problems with this kit are trivial compared to that resin desaster I first tried .
The kit itself is ok, there are a couple of fit issues but nothing that dryftiing and double checking wont cure. The
worst thing is that the sprockets need a good 1mm removing
from the rim of part #A5, otherwise those fantastic tracks wont fit and cut off the locating pin from #A4 or the teath donīt line up.
If you use the RB barrel then make sure you put some weight int the back off the turret, otherwise it will tip forwards. The kits .50 and .30cal are not up to much, Iīll use Academys US MG set instead. Hereīs some more pics, the basic build is done, just the PE to add and the tracks to click together, and then primer time:

Nice one Nathan !!
I'm working on a Legend conversion too but for the ColdWar MBT Campaign.
Watch out for small parts like MG's that can be warped and carefully look at the instructions from AFV & Legend to find out which parts to use or leave.
Will be joining this thread soon...

Hi Sal, Iīm afraid the "Hi Octane" is running a bit low at the moment , Iīm going to have to get a good restock . Your Jagdpanther is coming on nicely, are you going to add more camo or just a wash to get that beautiful zimmerit to show through?
O.k. everyone, paint time, I primed as always with Revell 08 anthracite, then came MM 1711 olive drab, and then two more light coats of OD getting lighter each time:
OD lightened Pt. 1
OD lightened Pt. 2
have a cool weekend all
Paul

I guess it's time for an update. After 3 months.... So, here's what I've done so far:
I tried some new things. I made welds on the turret
And on the cupola
Improved the cast texture on the mantlet
Filed the barrel because it was sticking out of the muzzle
Also I made this. I don't know how to properly call it
Next I'm going to make a new storage tube out of brass tubes
Any advice on cutting brass sheet? I tried cutting it with scissors but it just rolls up.
I don't think that I'm going to finish it anytime soon because I'm building a trumpeter BMP-3.
Happy modelling.

Hi people. Time for me to have a go with my Semovente. I was caught up on other campaigns so i am a little late.
Sal your Jagdpanther looks good, tracks are always a pain , keep it up.
Paul that's a paintjob well done.
Remigijus from the few pics i can see nice work. Most of the pics don't work.
Here is my starting pic and below that one is what i want to build. (Hopefully. )
