Continuing on the 232 - assemble and selectively using PE details. Had a moment with the front armor plate, installing it in the wrong location, instructions call for creating slots to mount, lucky remove before it had dried, patched and corrected slots. Turret details coming together, thinking of adding additional bolts to hatches and hinges. Next up painting mufflers before mounting heat shields. More photos

Dan: That is one of my favorite armored cars. I built the Italeri one, some years ago. Unfortunately, my cat destroy within a week of being adopted. Great job on the weld seams.

Dayumm, some very nice builds happening. Not too much on mine, have been overseas for a bit and concentrated on my Tiger 2 the last couple days since I came back, but here is a little bit of progress. Got the transfer case and the sway bar in. The sway bar material supplied with the kit is very soft wire, impossible to get straight so I used some piano wire to bend into the sway bar (on the right):
The parts that hold the sway bar are very small and need to be drilled out - carefully!!!

Worked on both builds,
BTR-40, very detailed, this kit is a good candidate for a wreck or workshop diorama, it has a very good detailed engine, transmission, suspension also a neat interior.
Next to come,
And the M1114

Hi John (Shorty53) I don't think I've seen a build of the Bushmaster before. Will be watching this one with interest as it's one of the few current military vehicles based on an Irish design. Might have to get one of these myself.
John (Nito74), Dan & Colin: great attention to detail all of you!
Well I finally got fed up waiting for my LHS to get the revell Dingo so it's currently in the post from overseas. Hope to have it in time to start next week.

Thanks Sean !
It's indeed an amazing kit from Bronco.
Extremely detailed, anyway here's today's work:
I should have painted the floor and side walls from the driver & passenger seats before adding the dashboard.
Now I have to touch up the gas pedal and be really careful with the gear leavers.
Also added the PE at the rear and will start to add the ammo rack supports and other tiny details at the back.

Just added a few more details,
It needs more work, the coat of primer will have to wait a bit.

Jumping in late with this the DML Puma
I don't know how much of the voyager etch set I will use . I bought it in the mistaken belief that it was the fender set but it's not it is just a set of niggly little clamps interior details that no one will ever see
The mantra to use with this kit is dry fit twice glue once

Looks like I'm going to jump into this one late and after rifling my stack of wheely things with armor I've settled on a really easy build.
Yup, the old Tamiya Daimler. Sure it's got it's issues and plenty of em, but it's a fun build and something I'm confident I can finish in good time, maybe even fast enough to crack into my Vision BA-64.

Some amazing stuff going on, here. I'll post some updates of my build this evening. I've been building all of the etch. It helps me keep from having to go through unnecessary surgery, later.
