James, I think what he meant that he got the figure to look just like that photo of Herr Dietrich, but without the moustache.
Eetu... Marvellous piece of a T-34, it has been through hard times with flashy decals, spilling thinner and broken pieces, but it still is a menacing beast!
I am about to complete my captured KV-2, but silly silly, I got stuck with the tank commander's figure! It seems I can't get the figure right and putting a commander in that bloody hatch is becoming something of an obsession. Still, if by the way, I still can't paint a decent commander you will get my KV in before the deadline... I hope.
Best of luck with the commander figure Emre, I hope you get him sorted so you can be happy.
I have barely started on my builds yet but they arent too complicated so should get them both done fairly quickly....

Eetu, call it a T-34 "to be refurbished" and be done with it. They removed all the tools for easier access, they will put them back when they are done Won't they?
That's one possiblity.
Or I could say it's just being reconfigured after the war. But that wouldn't go together with the weathering...
I dont know Eetu, the weathering doesnt look that heavy to me, it could easily fit with a vehicle about to be reconfigured, it could just have had a shakedown drive to see if it was mechanically in order.

hello Mark,
i am out of the running for this campaign.the grant was finished and i was doing a little more weathering, then i got called away for 5 minutes.when i returned, my newest pup Tigger the Wonder Dog,ate the model,it was in a Gazillion pieces, and i found the wheels and tracks in a pile of dog ****.he is only 10 months old and does not know any better.so as i am a slow builder(the grant took 4 months to do)there is no way i can do another model before the end of the campaign.
i can not wait to see everyone's build when this is over.
Cheers to all,
Bruce

HI Mark,
I'm in the weathering stage of my build but with things being so busy around this time of year I'm not sure I'll get it completed by 11:59 PM Dec. 31. If I can I'll post to the Campaign gallery and here.
Merry Christmas!
Scott

Thanks Scott, how long do you think you'd need, a couple of weeks be enough?

I am nearly done with my KV-2, however my little cousins are over for Christmas and they don't let me do any modelling (when they see the fancy tanks, trucks and artillery they go "vrooom vrooom booom BOOOOOM" so I keep everything out of their sight). I think I'll be able to finish, however if not they leave the week after New Year, so an extension might come in handy, say a week or 10 days.

I would hope so but I'm not sure what my schedule will be like. An extra couple of weeks would be a great help!
Thanks,
Scott

No problem Emre, I'll get the extension organised so those that need it can get done.

Looks superb Marcin, very nice subtle weathering, I hope you get the dio finished, if you need the extra two week extension to do so then just go for it.

Thanks for kind word, Mark.
Dio is almost finished. It just needs some touch ups, detail correction and taking pictures of course. I just need few hours or maybe days of custructive thinking to work out details.

Despite finishing my build months ago, I have yet to actually take some photos of my 'flak-bren' on its diorama and get them onto the site. I will do before the extension is over I promise Mark!
