Trakz German Staff Car

The Final Touch
I used 5 minute Epoxy to attach the figures and vehicle to the base. The last thing to do was the little Nazi flags. I first replaced the resin flag staffs with brass wire, then primed with Floquil primer. I undercoated the flag area with Polly S flat white, and after that cured for a few months (!) I punched a few disks of Bare Metal Foil to mask the white area, and brushed on plain old Testors Flat red, using strokes from the centre of the foil disk outwards. After this dried, I removed the Bare Metal Foil Masks, and used a .005 Tech pen to draw on the swastikas. While I had the pen out, I tried to add a little decorative border to the flags (Photos 87-104).

As always I apologize for the photo quality, as they were taken over a period of over a year, and taken in various settings, and using two different cameras.
