Between the Wars 1918-1939
This area shows the development of vehicles between WW1 and WW2 and the radical alteration in shape and size. There is a dressing up area to keep the nippers entertained, and a number of display cases covering an interesting period of AFV advancement. At certain times some of the WW1 tanks are opened up, and young and old alike are allowed to find out what it was like to crew one of these early AFV's which brings going to war in these cramped vehicles into stark reality.Comments
An excellent tour Darren, well done. You really captured the atmosphere of the place.
I'm a Bovy fan too and go two or three times a year if I can.

Thank you both. It is registered as a charity and a visit there will be the best £11 for an adult £7 for a child you could ever spend.

Hi Darren,
Excellent stuff. Good to see this one go live. I like the new layout, the vehicles look much more accessable.
Look forward to the walkarounds
