Bovington Tank Museum a virtual tour

Around the world 1945-1991
This area is a little misnamed as it contains predominately British armoured vehicles. I will admit that a large majority of the vehicles here have been sold around the world or served with British forces around the world, the remainder is made up of captured vehicles (mostly from Iraq) and some interesting French designs. This area is a must for those interested in the Centurion as there is one here cut down the middle giving an unorthodox view of Britain’s best selling ever military export, plus every other aspect of this iconic tank are exploded for you to view.

An excellent tour Darren, well done. You really captured the atmosphere of the place. I'm a Bovy fan too and go two or three times a year if I can.

Thank you both. It is registered as a charity and a visit there will be the best £11 for an adult £7 for a child you could ever spend.

Hi Darren, Excellent stuff. Good to see this one go live. I like the new layout, the vehicles look much more accessable. Look forward to the walkarounds Al
