G'day Paddo, the primer actually comes in a spray can, so no thinning required. I am looking forward to seeing your results, I'm sure it will look very nice considering what you have achieved already.

Shane, thanks for your advice, but I think I'll let it slip this time. With the price of those Hornet heads quite high... not to mention shipping costs and the time it would take to get here... I'll stick with what I've got this time. Cheers though.

Dave, really glad you like it! Thanks also Guy, Jaymes and Martyn.

A pallette tip, Chas - If you ever run out of CDs, then you can tape some aluminum foil to a piece of cardboard from any old box. It's not porous, and virtually free!

Keep up your great work.

Hey Steve, yea I'm still plugging away. I'm trying to do more work and less posting... and get this thread over with! My next diorama will be presented very differently, as I really do not like creating such massive threads. Big threads are usually associated with big dioramas with loads of impressive, ground-breaking details. My dio has neither really...

Scott, thanks for the tip. That is a good idea.

Gday Chas,

I understand what you mean,
but what I like (and know sharing this view with some others folks) in diorama section are things to view, small updates or huge ones, but no finished products.
So keep showing, people like this topic.

Bye.
Alex.

Hi Alex, yes I love build logs too. I enjoy the works of Guy, Domi, JBA, Claude, yourself and many others who start build logs and GET THEM FINISHED!

Paddo, how did you know? Thanks mate, it's my birthday tomorrow (26th) but I guess that's a timezone thing? Thanks all the same!

Good evening Chas,

Sorry about being a day early. I shall change my calendar straight away. Here I was thinking your day had already changed to the 26th because of the IDL. At least I was in time albeit a day early. I'm usually late with such things.

A grand happy birthday tomorrow then.

All the very best.

Paddo

P.S. Something’s must not be revealed.

I love how you left this figure, are very successful.

I paddle as the plates empty land use of aspirin and other drugs, the place where I used the pill
container for the paint to be small and low cost material

for better sound quality, put a microphone on a long stick and then put it in a vice so that its about 6 inches away from your face but n ot blocking the veiw.

based on this cocept.

Another video uploaded. More figure progress. Please rate, comment or subscribe... preferably all three!

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That speaking American bit was funny, but when I heard that loud bang and said, "what the hell was that?" and subtitles came up about the Koala falling and hitting your roof I just lost it. You didn't even miss a beat! LMAO!!!!!

Brilliant work on the dio Chas. The American accent was incredible. Very funny. But I think you come across quite clearly. I'd stick to your native accent. Or maybe try a different one for each update.

Hi everyone!

Domi, great tip, those headache pill containers would be perfect for paint palettes.

Hey Erik, I like your idea. I will experiment.

I probably won't get much more progress on this build over the next few months, due to study and work. Come our summer time here in Oz, I'll be back swinging with my modelling mojo. Thanks for leaving a comment tylusfaust!

Dave and Matt, thanks bros. Glad you didn't take any offence. I'm doing a bit of swing/jazz singing lately, so my faux American accent is essential in making my act sound authentic.

Hi Chase,
Like Dave above me, I read your story in one go. When I get home from work I'll watch the vids on Youtube. I am looking forward to further updates... I have a feeling this will be a grand dio!

G'day,

I'm really happy that there are still people reading and interested in this!

I'll get back the the project as soon as my examinations are over in November.

Again, thanks!
