I reworked the right house corner of the gate section. I think it's more interesting to look at now, by adding more woodwork. For this job, I had to add bricks and tiles too, so now it looks heavier. It's more Normandy style architecture as it looks now I believe.

Next update, a medieval wooden door.

Quite simple in fact, starting from a good reference picture.



1) The door was made of plastic sheet. With a file I made a wood structure in the plastic surface, simple and effective enough :



2) I cut planks and glued them on a piece of plastic card.



3) Nuts and bolts from the spare box can come in handy to complete a medieval door :


4) a towing cable part from the spare box makes a good door knocker (I hope this word exists ?) :



5) Primer and a couple of base paint layers make it ready for weathering in a later stage :

A window and the brickwork done (I can still remove it easily to finish the window) . Bricks need filling now.


The lowest window will be completed with colored pieces of glass.
